Can vegetarians eat meat produced in labs?
If meat was 100% identically replicable in labs would there be a reason for a vegetarian not to eat it?

Coming from the point of view of someone who isn't vegetarian but is instead strongly for animal rights, I say yes if the vegetarian is one out of moral concern as opposed to religious requirements. There is no concern for animals in lab produced meat, as no animals exist in the labs only cells that are reproduced enough to create muscle. It's a bit gruesome how the meat is produced, but unless said vegetarian considers muscle tissue something that should be protected there's no moral reason not to eat it. Side: yes

Yes sure. Why not ? I mean there is already a number of vegatarians who have begun to eat humanely raised meat. http://www.foodandwine.com/articles/ Side: yes

No. This is my personal opinion. There are no moral dilemas. Religiously they'll probably say it's no good to consume something that is so fabricated and unnaturall created. To me it's the one abstinence I have. It's the one selfless act I do that nobody can say is not. Obviously depending on people's reasons for being vegetarian the answer will differ. Side: No
Lab meat is artificial by default and a paradox. While a handful of scientists are now culturing meat from animal muscle cells, others have proved that Vegetarians live longer, healthier lives. That's a fact. Modern medicine can prolong life and medical science is keeping people alive. It's simpler not to eat meat. Side: No
