Well, most people could like someone whom they consider inferior, but not respect them. Just in the same way they could like their pet dog but feel, rightly or wrongly that they're intellectually superior. However, as race is not a measure of someone's intelligence it would be wholly wrong to feel superior exclusively on racial grounds. Side: Yes

It depends what one means by 'liking someone', but I'm inclined to say any kind of liking that's consistent with a felt sense of superiority would be rather superficial and backhanded (i.e. not the kind of liking any self-respecting person would appreciate having directed at them). Side: No
