Can you prove a negative?
Many Christians and atheists say that one cannot prove a negative. The former will say that atheists can't prove the negative, that God does not exist, just like they can't prove the positive, that God does exist. The latter will say that no one can prove a negative, just like we can't prove that there is a tea pot in the orbit of Mars. Can one prove a negative?

Modus Tollens teaches us that if you know the consequent is a negative, then you cannot have the antecedent. For example, you know that the organism in front of you is not a mammal; therefore, logically you know that it is not a dog or a cat or a human. Therefore, one can prove a negative. Side: Yes
