Capitalism Will Be Obsolete In The Future And Socialism Will Take Over

When you have a system based on acquiring a fictional abstract concept of the mind in order to acquire resources, the real world seems unimportant compared to the acquisition of the social construct points known as profit. Thus we have a society where when we produce things, the sustainability and quality of what we produce takes less priority than how many yankee doodle ding dongs we make from it. Not only do spend our whole capitalistic lives chasing a conceptual abstraction that people are programmed to think is the measure of a person's worth and their key to accessing resources, but we also spend more time trying to fix our man made conceptual economy that doesn't even exist in objective reality than we do trying to fix our ecosystem and our social paradigm. In the future, if mankind ever makes it out of the age of stupidity, we will be way more socialister. Because we will have less and less of a need for all of this socially constructed drivel when we have a technologically advanced civilization that requires more and more of a technical approach to keep functioning. We will no longer live in a world where some abstraction determines who eats and who dies, or some politician's opinion decides what rights you have or who we will blow up nexts, instead we will live in a world that is ruled by only two men...Mr. Right and Captain Correct.

There are a few glaring problems with what your says. firstly of all, Capitalism is already way better than socialism, so why does how does who does why does how does socialism suddenly becomec magical better in the futurrerrereerrerre?

Secondly of next, Socialism has nothing to do with being technical or correct or futriuristacel. Socialism is defined officially by the dictionary as "A system inwhich the government literally own you and you own nothing".

Here is what the future has in store for us. A one world government, ruled by the Antichrist. A cashless society, where no one can buy or sell without the mark of the beast. The good news is that it won't last long, and what comes after will be better than anything you could possibly imagine. At least for some of us, it will be. The rest of you will wish you'd never been born.

I think is unrealistic to expect the evaporation or subversion of the biological basis of territoriality and drive toward hierarchy that has a 250 million year history in the development of the human brain.

Capitalism is based on territoriality, and the natural drives to own and to climb hierarchies. Socialism is based on the subversion or cancellation of these drives.

We can look at the 50 million killed by the government in the USSR, the 70 million in China, and the 3 million in North Korea (not to mention the hundreds of millions imprisoned in socialist regimes) to see how draconian socialist policies must be in order to force people to get in line with the socialist "utopia."

I don't really think socialism will take over any time soon.

They are NOT socialist regimes. Regimes are POLITICAL. Socialism is economic. An authoritarian political regime will use socialism to influence people to THINK the government is THEIRS! In democratic socialism, it IS theirs.

Hello Al,

Regimes are POLITICAL. Socialism is economic.

I appreciate your point.

I cannot help but wonder, however, who you think would administer the socialist economic system if not a government ensconced in a temporary regime.

I also cannot help but wonder what that administrative body would do with those people who would ignore the desires of the socialist administrators, and instead respond in accordance with the drives of the deepest parts of their brains to hold onto what they own, and climb hierarchies.

An authoritarian political regime will use socialism to influence people to THINK the government is THEIRS! In democratic socialism, it IS theirs.

Again, when large numbers of people insist on keeping what is theirs, refuse to abandon capitalism, refuse to stop using economic enterprise to climb social hierarchies, what can the administers of a socialist system do?

Maybe you see a different set of answers than I do, but all I see are two possibilities.

- 1 - Allow the remaining capitalists to keep their property and continue to engage in capitalism.

- 2 - Take their property by force. Kill or imprison them if they refuse to give up their property or stop their efforts to increase personal wealth.

What other options do you see?

No, wank. Capitalism will NOT be obsolete. It would, and HAS done well under DEMOCRATIC socialism. The "democratic" part preserves FREEDOM, the socialistic part helps to CONTROL capitalism, BY and FOR the people. In the future we shouldn't let ANY economic system "take over", we just need to have a government OF, BY and FOR the people and keep the 1% from "taking over"! Like they have in Russia's runnaway capitalism!

So you are honestly going to tell me that you believe in 200 years, when we have colonies on mars and we can use nanotechnology to 3d print enough cheeseburgers to feed half of africa using virtually no resources that we will still use money to tell those people they can't have the cheeseburgers and only Bill Gates deserves them?

We can't even get anyone back to the moon.

Theoretical nonsense.

that we will still use money to tell those people they can't have the cheeseburgers and only Bill Gates deserves them?

Bill Gates is a lib. Why doesn't he feed you?

Maybe, maybe not, but as of right now, we have no nano technology to produce food at no cost, so Socialism isn't particularly helpful pre nano.

I don't remember mentioning cheeseburgers OR 3d printing, and I'm worried that we don't HAVE 200 years!

No matter how abundant material goods become (because of capitalism), people will still be creating things and services that are unique (thus scarce), and trading them for other unique things. And money will always make this practice easier. And ignorant people with their greedy minds stuck in a utopian nowhere will always be clamoring about how unfair it is that people have more of what you want than you do.

Clinton's tax returns show that she and former President Bill Clinton have made $240 million since leaving the White House, thanks largely to speaking engagements and books. Forbes attributes a large portion of that—$189 million—to Bill Clinton, leaving Hillary with a $51 million profit so far.

Since Clinton herself said she and her husband left the White House "dead broke," what they've made since then provides a good idea of their net worth today. Wealth-X estimates Hillary Clinton's net worth to be at least $18 million, and her federal financial disclosure filing in 2015 showed that she had between $11.3 million and $52.7 million in the bank.

And remember Grandpaw the Clinton's lied and said they left the White House DEAD BROKE !!!!!!!!!!! LMMFAO

Where did their money come from DEMOCRATIC SOCIALISM you insane FOOL ?

Crazy people think everyone ELSE are the crazy ones, like, Trump thinks white supremacists that march against races and other religions are "very fine people", and women speaking out for their rights is an "angry mob". Crazy is as crazy does …. and YOU (and he) DO.
