Capitalists Love To Pretend Socialism Is The Same Thing As State Capitalism.

You know the one. Government seizes control of the means of production, starts a dictatorship, yada yada yada.

It is pretty amazing what people can be convinced of if you tell them they are really smart for believing your absurd pack of lies, and everyone else is just jealous. That's the real surreal thing about conversing with Americans. You sit there thinking, "Omg these people are retarded", but of course they think the exact same thing about you, and -- perhaps because they are retarded -- they use their own numbers as validation they are correct.

You create a monster when you indoctrinate someone to be both stupid and arrogant. You create a country of monsters if you do it through mass media.

When Fascists and Communists take over a country and take control of the manufacturing community (because they CAN!), they say "We are now socialists! They can't, in any case, say they are capitalists when they have just taken away capitalism, now, can they??

However, if a democratic government allows "mostly free" capitalism, allows the private ownership of manufacturing, but keeping it under reasonable "societal general rule" (i.e., not allowing capitalists to rip off the people OR control the "peoples government"), that's democratic socialism, NOT "state socialism" (fascism, communism). BIG difference!

Alfie brother. Communism is a theory about giving control of the manufacturing community to the workers.

If the government takes control of the manufacturing community then that is called state capitalism.

The point of the thread is to try to make people understand the pervasive myths which exist about Communism. These myths are ingrained into the western psyche. Whoever wins a war gets to rewrite history, and there is no doubt that the Americans won the war against Communism.

I don't want the government to TAKE control of the manufacturing community, but, if the government (of, by and FOR the people), does not control capitalism ENOUGH, capitalism WILL control the government. (Follow the money). THAT is what has happened, mostly since Reagan and exploded under the conservative Congress, Senate and SCOTUS …. and punctuated by Trump. WE NEED to CONTROL runaway capitalism, i.e. Big Pharma and Wall Street, ENOUGH to keep them from swallowing up democracy! We may have won the war against communism, but NOT against the communist hierarchy. THEY are still trying to destroy democracy.

Why is it that you refuse to accept the proper definitions of things? Democratic socialism is socialism, there is no capitalism at all involved. What you are describing is social democracy BY DEFINITION so why don't you educate yourself or shut your retarded face. Communism is not "state socialism", social democracy is state socialism. Fascism is not a form of socialism and is the precise opposite of communism.

I refuse to accept YOUR "proper definitions" because, whatever YOU choose to call what I stand up for, it's NOT what YOU say it is. Definitions aside, I've explained what I would like to see and it doesn't seem to resemble what YOU want to see. Last week what you wanted to see was kind of "unexplainable", at least MINE is!

I did NOT say fascism and communism were the same, I said they USED socialism …. as does democracy. I like the way we HAVE been using it!

Again. Please explain just what the FUCK YOU think is "better"!??

I think this probably is the result of some weird psychological effect, where it reminds people of their mothers.
