but they can/will curl up with you when you are reclining or relaxing while reading a book. For their own selfish cat reasons. They don't care about you. When a Dog sits by you it's because they love you. Dogs are usually afraid of you when they do otherwise, but Cats don't even care who you are as long as they get to use you to keep them warm. Cats are much less of a hassle to look after as they are more independent. An owner's relationship with a dog really can be a rewarding thing but they get so reliant on you they end up to some degree taking over your life. Also I find dogs are so over excitable they can be a bit irritating and they are less hygenic to keep than cats. Side: Cats

I've always preferred cats. In my experience, they are just as affectionate as dogs, they're just as intelligent, and they're cuter. Dogs aren't as fun to pet, but cats purr and are way softer. Cats are just as much fun to play with, and they're just as entertaining to watch. I have a cat, and I much prefer him to all the dogs I've had experience with :) Side: Cats

I like cats a little better because I can have someone to pet while I read.My cat usually doesn't ruin the book too much. But that doesn't mean I don't love dogs!!!!!!Plus cats are a lot less needy and way easier to take care of.Not too much of problem if you forget to feed them. They catch their own food.I speak from experience. I believe Dogs are better than cats by far. Dogs are way more social. You cant play catch with a cat or take a cat for a walk. Also dogs are way more friendly. Cats always want alone time and are always hiding and sleeping. Dogs on the other hand want to be around people 24/7. This is why I believe dogs are better than cats. Side: Dogs
Dogs. I grew up with them and I love them, you can play with them and walk them. They don't use you as much as cats do. My friend has a cat he only goes to the house when he's hungry. It may not be the same with all cats but that one is. Plus it's easier to train dogs. Side: Dogs
