Mostly I pick my nose. I don't know what that says about my character.

I used to fart when I thought no one else was within ear shot but I stopped doing that. Mainly because of the number of people out there with super hearing but also because I'm old enough now that people forgive me for farting in public ;)

Besides, people already think I'm a character ;)

I'm not sure. I mean, there's plenty I do when I'm alone when I don't want anyone else around, including my husband. But I sure hope those things I do when alone don't make my character. haha. I like to think my character is in my head, because in my head, I'm a saint. I help people more than I actually do, and I don't mess things up, and I have a great job and... ya... but it's all in my head, for now. I'm not a bad person, I'm one of those people that likes to be alone a lot. So I come off as seeming lazy.

No, my friend. Character is not what you do when no one is looking! Character is what you are and cannot help but show no matter who is looking or who is not. I do catch your meaning though!

This topic reminds me of an episode of Babylon 5 called "Comes the Inquisitor". The point was to find out if our hero's were truly selfless. Basically the question came down to whether you are willing to uphold you ideals even when it doesn't matter and you are to die alone in the dark to save the life of another when no one knows about it. The true definition of selfless.

It's a good point to understand that our interaction with others does change us, and to be aware of our behavior when we are alone. We are our only keepers in this sense, and it our responsibility to be good people even when no one is looking.

definetly correct whatever i do when no one is around shows my character to myself.................

for me ,there r lot many things that i do (which i shouldn't have done)when no one is around...but later i repent to myself for that

it gets really embarassing when i realize what i did.......
