Ugh, this religion of yours has knocked everything out of you that makes a normal teenager.
I am not in a religion. I am in a relationship with Jesus Christ. Religion is man's way to get to God. Christianity is God's way to get to man.
A teenager that doesn't like swearing?! Oh My! That is new...
"Fuck" must be a scary word for you then, eh? Fuckity fuck-fuck-fuck. Are you hiding behind your computer desk right now?
I never said that I didn't like swearing. I just said to watch your language. There is a difference.
Seriously dude, just get over it. Swear words are nothing but words. I'm sure you can be brave enough to take it.
Swear words might be just words to you but not to me. They are destructive words that doesn't need to be said and it is annoying and also really insulting. When you swear you are angry. Are you mad bro?
Have you ever seen me on this site swearing? No. I don't swear because in the Bible it says not to swear and also we should talk to people with a good tone and be nice to them, not be rude and use swear words and use destructive words. On the site we shouldn't be profanity. Addltd even said that.
Why are you looking at my IP address? I don't want you to know where I live! That's none of your buisness to know what my ip address is and where I live. Your not suppose to look at my ip address its suppose to be private and I thought I blocked my ip address.
Pff, I could get all of them in about 30 seconds. But, as you said to Drem, that's private. I have proof, but I might as well play with you a bit more.
I am not in a religion. I am in a relationship with Jesus Christ. Religion is man's way to get to God. Christianity is God's way to get to man.
Why do you glorify your religion? It's no different to anything else. The problem is, you are more incorrect. You've never justified why your God would make a law to kill children for petty vocalization. It's fucked up. Stuff your God. :D
I never said that I didn't like swearing. I just said to watch your language. There is a difference.
Contradiction.
There is apparently no difference. To say "watch your language" implies that the speaker has a necessity of preventing the speaking of bad language. This necessity is bred from the disliking of swearing. And there would be no other means to act in such a way.
Swear words might be just words to you but not to me. They are destructive words that doesn't need to be said and it is annoying and also really insulting. When you swear you are angry. Are you mad bro?
They can only be destructive if they are said in a particular way. Chuckhades used it in a way that should not be of any profanity or offense. You must have a fragile emotion to not have the ability to deal with these words. You are a teenager, you are at a perfect age that condones the use of "scary" words.

The damn bible says you can keep slaves as well. It also says that if you swear, you deserve to die. Why would you follow this wretched book that has a God that murders children for swearing? And why aren't you justifying it? For the past month, no word concerning the matter of Leviticus 20:9 has came out of you. I wonder why.
There's something to be said for context. If i were to say "fuck you" to someone that's entirely different than saying "your fucking religion." One is directed you someone as an insult, the other is used to add strength, tone, or give a special connotation to a topic. Taking offense at me using a swear word in the latter context is like me being insulted every time you use the word "Jesus" or "Christianity." I personally might find those words irritating, but taking offense because you used them is silly and a pointless waste of energy. If you dont want to swear because your religious dogma says so, feel free, but this is no basis to condemn others for it and isn't a logical reason to get your panties in a bunch over.
On this topic, though, how many words in the English language are as versatile as "fuck?" And of those, how many could serve as a synonym for "fuck," it all its forms? It's a wonderful and very flexible word, one that doesn't have an adequate substitute, like many other swear words.
Also, I'm shit sure I'm in a pretty fucking fantastic mood and the fact that I'm swearing doesn't say a god damn thing about my anger, or lack thereof.
No, swearing in this context doesn't symbolize anger. It symbolizes me taking the piss out of your absurd phobia.
See right there you are still upset at me. Because you just said that your taking the piss out of your absurd phobia. Pissed means that you are angry or upset.
I don't have an absurd phobia of swear words. I could say bad words if I wanted to but I choose not to.
Don't even try and give me a lecture on the meaning of words. The past participle "pissed", and the noun "piss" have completely different meanings and connotations. If you were right, then comedians would be the angriest people on Earth.
If Christianity never existed the world would be in such a better place and we would probably be vastly more advanced than we are today. It is a shame, really.
Here is a list of things that Christianity has done for the world.
1. Christianity in addition has had a major impact upon all European languages, adding words, spelling, grammar and shaped what we say - the phrases, our idioms, and the Christian names of people, places and organisations. Great authors like C.S. Lewis and freedom fighters like John Knox were also inspired in the Christian tradition and helped change our world.
2.Christian leaders like Elizabeth Fry fought for prison reform and the first Workers Union was set up by a Christian preacher and his friends, fighting for fair pay, better working conditions and a day of rest.
3.In the field of science, many of the founding fathers of many areas were Christians, with a devout belief in the God of the Bible and the same is true for the leaders of the Industrial Revolution, which shaped the world we live in. Michael Faraday was a scientist and evangelical Christian whose pioneering work changed the modern world, in that he helped give us electricity and the founder of the Greenwich Observatory that gave us the world’s first great star map, was of course a preacher as well. Many of the people who put man on the moon, working in NASA, were also believers.
4.Christianity in addition shaped politics, which gave us laws that protected the common man, as the Bible’s teaching on the equality of all men shaped our civilisation. Then missionaries spread these values around the world, turning entire nations into new realms to be shaped by the Christian message.

Not done by Christianity, done by Christians.

See above.

If Faraday had access to the knowledge we have today, I'd bet money that he wouldn't be a Christian. And what's your source for NASA?

Bullshit. Christianity hindered societal progress for hundreds of years due to the outlandish and barbaric teachings of the Old Testament. Couple that with several bloodthirsty and moronic leaders, and you end up with a world hindered significantly by Christianity.

During the Medieval Ages in Europe if you wanted to study science you had to go to a monastry or university (which was run by chrisitian institutions), if the Chrisitian church didn't exist then the middle ages would have been 100 years without any advancement in education going on in Europe while little kingdoms go around fighting each other. This would have put Europe a little behind on technology and no doubt have lost any chance of Europe turning the whole world into a bunch of colonies.

You do realise that the medieval ages were also the dark ages?
And? The people that did all the things Srom listed did so out of the kindness of their own heart, not because of Christianity. They would have done the same had they been Muslims, Buddhists or atheists.
"hey would have done the same had they been Muslims, Buddhists or atheists."
I don't think so, if you look at C.S.Lewis' Narnia series the evil civilization in one of the books are described as tanned people, who wear turbans, live in desert areas, worship a man eating deity etc.
No, because they did so thinking they were obeying Jesus. Had there been no Christianity, there would be no Jesus to follow, and the people who did those things wouldnt have done them because they wouldnt believe in Jesus.
Not the scientific achievements. The other stuff, especially the great literary artworks. C.S. Lewis would have never written his books had he not been a Christian.
CS Lewis could not have written the Narnia series had he not been Christian. But, being the literary genius he was, I'm almost positive that he could have produced something equally great as a non-Christian.
I think most of the greatness lies in it being Christian. One of the main reasons it was so great was because it was an amazing allegory. If he wasnt a Christian, he wouldnt be an allegory. Maybe he could still make something good, but It just wouldnt be the same.
It's the other way around; if you downvote someone, you are killing their efficiency. That one point lost might be worth it to battle such ignorant arguments that mysteriously get extra points for being irrational.
Then I guess if Jesus doesn't exist to you then Christianity is worthless because without Jesus Christ we wouldn't be Christians.
Simply by being a Christian you devalue, disregard, and disbelieve in a whole slew of other gods, prophets, demigods, mythology, and dogma, and by your own admission think their corresponding religions to be "worthless." Don't get butthurt with atheists when they hold the same opinion of your religion that you do of 99.999% of other religions. In the same way, you think Zoroastrianism is worthless because you don't believe in Ahura Mazda, and you don't credit Zoroaster. But, if you apply your logic regrading how Christianity implies the truth of Christ, you also seem to assert that if Ahura Mazda doesn't exist, there wouldn't be Zoroastrianism, as if a large number of people believing in something makes it true. Do you see the flaw in your logic? Your argument is both hypocritical and backward.
For the sake of this post I'll assume Jesus at least existed.
If he were "just" human then Chuck walks all over him.
The only reason to believe that Jesus was more is from the Bible. A self-contradicting source of doubtful origin. If we take it to be true then I see no reason that we shouldn't take Chuck Norris facts as true. And then, as is written in the great Book of Chuck; "Jesus can walk on water, Chuck Norris can walk on Jesus".
Couldn't you just respect the meme, as every teenager would?
At least let them have a tie between them?
There is no limit to what Chuck Norris can do. I am surprised he hasn't broken into your house for talking to him like that. But perhaps the kindness in his heart makes him better than that. Jesus is a hippy, so I don't see how he could take him on.

There is no limit to what Jesus Christ can do. I am suprised that Jesus Christ hasn't taken your soul since you compare a God to a mortal. But He still loves you and wants to be in a relationship with him. Chuck Norris is a mortal, I don't know how he can defeat a God.
Precisely. He is too much of a loving hippy to do crap... so in the midst of a battle, Chuck Norris will smack the hippy with his pimp cane while Jesus continues to forgive him. And trust me, Chuck Norris isn't a mortal... as the meme says, he is Immortal. The least he could do is bury Jesus in cave.
Oh wait... Jesus could disappear magically from the cave! Slippery bitch!
That's when Chuck would take him on in heaven... his staff-snakes and gnats are of no match to a living embodiment of infinite awesomeness.
And also, it's not like Chuck was the one who was nailed on a damn cross! XD
I think the opposite equal would be raising it at a Walker Texas Ranger fan club convention, but I get your point. Luckily we have a whole slew of secondary accounts keeping the "Jesus" side up in terms of the score.
This is the opposite venue I was orignally thinking of, Chuck Norris is a well known, popular internet meme so any debate featuring him which was held online is likely to swing in his favour.
Jesus would win because he is God. If God can create Chuck Norris just by thinking about him, he could destroy Chuck Norris just as easily. Also, Chuck Norris is just a human; he is greatly limited in what he can do, whereas God is limitless in is power.
Chuck Norris identifies himself as a Christian. He speaks of this as being one of the driving forces in his life. Chuck Norris willingly submits to Jesus, and has dedicated his life to Christ, so I doubt that Chuck Norris would champion.
I find it amazing that so many people refuse to even believe that Jesus existed there are many writings outside of the Bible that refer to Jesus, the first-century Roman Tacitus, who is considered one of the more accurate historians of the ancient world refers to him as does the Jewish historian Flavius Josephus to name Two, so lets assume that these ancient scholars are correct and there was a man in ancient Galilee called Jesus who formed what is now the Christian faith (i'll ignore the fact that he may have been the son of God for the basis of this argument). Chuck Norris is a follower of the Christian Faith so to him Jesus is his teacher and master anyone who knows anything about Martial Arts knows that it is considered direspectful to challenge your teacher and as Jesus was a pacifist he would not have challenged Chuck so Jesus wins
