Medicinal marijuana is very easy to get if you are in a state where it's legal. You can tell your doctor that you have a migraine and he can write you a prescription for pot.

Here's the reason. Marijuana is an excellent drug. It's not physically addictive (only dependent types become "addicted" to it, but they are the same people who get addicted to chocolate or video games), it's a great pain killer, it's not unhealthy (definitely not as dangerous as many used to think), and you can't even Overdose on marijuana. It's one of the most harmless, miracle drugs out there yet it's illegal. yet, people can still drink alcohol which is an extremely dangerous substance that we take on a weekly basis.

Hell, marijuana hardly even impairs you when you're driving (unless you smoke a shit load, but you won't even feel like driving, you'll just want to sit or lay down).

The main problem is that there is a federal ban against marijuana, so the feds don't recognize medical marijuana as legal no matter what state they're in. Another great example of Big Brother infringing on State's rights.

Anyway,

I think we might as well just make it all legal. It should be completely legal or completely illegal. I don't like this weed limbo we are in where people are going through the doctor just to get their fix. It just feels dishonest.

Do I think it's right? Well, not really. I will never smoke anything. And there are plenty of other things to use for pain.

But it should be legal.
