Concern for the less well-off, or contempt for the more well-off

“it would be a mistake to regard the book-trained Socialist as a bloodless creature entirely incapable of emotion. Though seldom giving much evidence of affection for the exploited, he is perfectly capable of displaying hatred—a sort of queer, theoretical, in vacuo hatred—against the exploiters.“ - George Orwell

I find that some quieter Liberals (not on TV or often at protests) voices hold their beliefs out of concern for those less well-off. These Liberals are most often willing to engage in actual dialogue. This is because they are not seeking victory, but a solution. Increasingly, they are leaving the left.
That louder voice of the left (commonly on the news and often seen screaming, stomping, and breaking), expresses faux concern and real hatred. They denegrate successful competence as malicious exploitation. They seek to destroy the top, rather than lift the bottom. They don’t want a level playing field, but an equal final score. They have stifled and reversed much of the progress made between various groups. Where they are successful, everyone’s final score is 0.

I believe in helping the poor just like Jesus said in Matthew 25:31-46.

Yeah I am sorry but what I see is the right-wing hating on the well-off political power the left have and I don't see them giving one shit about the poverty of any lower on the food chain.

Meanwhile, I do see contempt for the well-off from the left in the exact reverse way but what I find is the left do have concern for the less well-off.

The right-wingers who are rich AND powerful STILL hate the others at their level deep-down. It's literally unwinnable, nice try though Amarel. I know what you are saying and FM/Nom fit this perfectly but I am a left-winger who will not fall for your tricks.

The right has The executive and the Senate. But yeah, they got it as a backlash against the left political supremacy of the previous 8 years.

I don't see them giving one shit about the poverty of any lower on the food chain

There are people with Right wing ideas at every level of the “food chain”. The religious right are among the most charitable people in the world.

I do see contempt for the well-off from the left in the exact reverse way but what I find is the left do have concern for the less well-off.

There are a number of quieter Liberals, as I referred to them in my description.

Deep down? Where; in those places only their opposition can see?

I am a left-winger who will not fall for your tricks.

Why don’t you read the entire OP, and then tell me exactly what trick you perceive.

You don't seem to understand the problem with right-wing mentality when it comes to charity. The mentality is 'we will be as kind as we want, when we want, how we want and to whom highly successful advertisers give enough of a shit about to make us care or rather to appear kinder than we really are by giving a lot at specific times.'

While the far-left mentality is 'GIVE ME ALL MONEYS, ALL DESERVE ALL MONEYS PLEZZZZ thankzzzz' doesn't quite work out ever, in practise, having a system closer to that ethos ensures that the cruel can't choose to not give. It does stop freedom to give specifically to the cause you want as you have less left to spend on that but so long as the government is run properly and morally it ends up being a better system as they have better means of finding those genuinely in need, estimating what amount to give without destroying the nation's infrastructure and can do a whole lot of other things to make life better for the vulnerable and poor.

There's zero examples of right-wing nations doing good to the poor. America is not fucking right-wing, it's centrist leaning right. A properly right-wing nation is Bangladesh, Indonesia or Kenya. While Indonesia isn't libertarian-right all are economically examples of a government that couldn't give a single shit about its poor. This is consistent with all right-wing nations. Do not bring to me North Korea and tell me 'left wing', I know what far-left does as well. I am very aware of how to balance it and the balance must lean to the left to work well long-term.

I don't know what the rest of what you said is referring to, you seemed to assume I 'knew I was wrong' or it was so obvious that I had ignored something.
