Well, we HAVE to consider the great liberal, Jesus of Nazareth. Conservatives (and the current occupier of the White House), seem to "overlook" his "liberal teachings" …. help the poor, cure the sick, feed the hungry, etc. They'd rather take away unemployment, Affordable Health Care, Meals-on-Wheels, etc.. Regardless of whatever form it takes, or wherever it raises its ugly head, I always find it amusing and heart warming to note how life's also-rans try to glean some solace from the torturous realities of their failure in life by attempting to scoff at the successful and high achievers. Just like so many other glamorized figures from history such as Jesse James, Butch Cassidy and Al Capone, Robin Hood was an outlaw/gangster who was romanticized by folklore and the entertainment industry. The popular image of this strange fellow wearing tights and curly winkle picker boots, marauding around Sherwood Forest carrying out daring feats of robbery is only believed by young children and the not so young hairy arsed children such as yourself. Do you also believe in other mythical heroes like Batman and Robin? Well, do you Punk?
