Democratic presidents do badly in the polls when they act more like republicans than democrats in office.Wall Strreet lost a trillion dollars in investments that prompted Bush to use another trillion in tax payer loans to come to their rescue and as Bush would have done Obama continued that policy.The Obama Administration tried to ignite the economy by creating the Stimulas Package. Another  conservative solution that failed mostly due to the fact that GOP Governors used the it to supplement their lost revenues from the tax breaks to Big Businesses.Obama re-signed the Bush Tax Breaks to the weathly,that at the same time,included legislation to cut off 75% of those that were receiving unemployment benefits that so many conservative media pudits were for.The Limbaughs,Becks,Millers,Fox Media and others were saying "Yeah,If I were in charge thats the first thing I would do,that would show them who's boss.That will get those Lazy Americans off their butts"and yet still the unemployment numbers are high.So many small businesses can't get loans to meet payroll,hire new workers,or invest in America from the bailed out banks which had no problems asking Americans for loans to stay in business and give out bonuses to reward failure.What kind of message does that send to todays youth? The wealthy have reaped in big profits from outsourcing of America's manufactoring sector overseas for cheap labor.The only thing that will create jobs here are a return to tough embargoes,quotas,tariffs,and fair trade agreements.Offering low paying jobs at Walmart and giving more tax breaks to the wealthy just isn't working.The most profitable countries in the world do well when they protect their phisical and financial borders and America has done a dismal job of both.
