Yes there are cowards all over this site .

Side: yes

I agree on this website there are. The only ones I consider cowards are the ones who down vote you and leave no comment, other than that it's all good.

Side: yes

There certainly are cowards on this site. I shall proceed to provide a tailored denunciation for all that come to mind:

We have Qymosabi, who hides behind race to disguise his inferiority complex.

Kinda, who uses incendiary comments and offensive language to pretend he has an enlightened and superior view of things.

There is Assface, whose arguments consist largely of spurious accusations of stupidity and misconception.

Thewayitis, who repetedly and repetitively libels and vilifies atheists, then wonders why he is regularly downvoted by a community composed mostly of the same.

And finally AltonSmith, who personally and systematically downvoted every single argument I wrote when I debated irreducible complexity with him (and I might add, he had no conception of either evolutionary or genetic theory).

If I have been remiss in failing to make mention of anybody who considers themselves worthy of a similar bestowal of the title "Official Coward of CreateDebate and All Her Colonies", please dispute me below and I shall make an amendment.

Whats with all of the personal attacks? These have no merit within debate. Let those who lack proper critical thinking fail on their own accord. If you resort to argumentum ad hominom such as these than you are no better than the opposition who would do the same.

And what would a colony of CD be?

You do not describe any actual cowardice in my instance. Thus, the personal attack fails.

Have a look at my arguments; you will find each one down-voted at least 3,4,5 times, and you will see the content in the argument which is truth. Yet I have only one (if that) actually respond to my post. This shows that there are at least 3,4,5 cowards down-voting each of my posts who are too afraid to respond, probably more than that who down-vote my other posts. Pathetic or what?! Seriously, cowards, get a life and use it! Lol.

I gotta admit, I am surprised you made a debate where both choices didn't support your view. Sure there are cowards on CD, but not everyone who down votes is a coward, if there is already a refutation with similar content to what you would say, there is no reason to make the same point twice, although they still strongly disagree with you so they down vote. Or it could be that the argument they are down voting is less of an argument and more of a comment or a statement of support for one side or the other and has little content or arguments to dispute in the first place. However there obviously are people who still down vote unnecessarily, but there are too many possible motives or reasons to call everyone who down votes without a refutation a coward.

Not only cowards but at least 1 coward with multiple accounts... this site is so slow... where are all the down votes coming from?

What better word describes those that down-vote without leaving a reason. "One afraid of opposition", many cowards among us.

Agreed. What may I ask are cowards doing on a debate site though, what can they possibly get out of it if too afraid to respond?

Some arguments aren't worth a rebuttal. Most of the time, down-voting is just a simpler way of saying: "I disagree with your perspective." Hardly any cowardice to it really.

"Most of the time, down-voting is just a simpler way of saying: "I disagree with your perspective.""

That's true.

It should be a judgment of the argument and not the perspective.

I wouldnt agree with the word coward, but a down-vote should not be used solely as a rebuttal to an argument. This provides little to a debate.

If a person disagrees with anothers position, than they should provide a reason. Otherwise, it is not truely an argument.
