DOES EVERYONE EXPERIENCE RACISM?

Everyone I have met (and asked) has said that they have experienced racism at least once in their lives. I know I have. Have you?  What is your personal definition of racism and do you agree or disagree with me?

In ninth grade, a person told me to go back where i came from. I moved from school to school. So i don't know he might be referring to that. I thought it was a racist comment because im Muslim.

We are friends now and im glad.

I was actually eliminated from a national camp because of the same reason. I cried like crazy... I still cry in fact. But, I have better things now that make me feel better!

That is sad in my opinion and im sorry. When i keep thinking about what you said, it really doesn't make sense to why they would remove someone because of their race.

Racism doesn't make sense.

I wasn't raised with any kind of racism or hatred. I don't and never have hated anyone. I don't agree with some people, I don't like some people but I don't hate. The closest I come to racism is stereotyping for example I will be more cautious if I'm walking down an alley and I see a man walking down it then if I saw a woman. On the other hand I have been denied state services when if I was native American or Hispanic I would have received them I have been called a racist by men and woman of many ethnicity's for things as simple as not knowing the name of the African president that was imprisoned (Nelson Mandela). I was sixteen by the way. I believe these accusations would not have been made against me if I were not white and that is racism to me.

Assuming you're referring to 'Ciara' the singer, that quote was a reference to white people not knowing what it's like to be the shoes of blacks. Which leads me to wonder, are you putting it down because you want to push my buttons? Or truthfully, somehow, dispute that racism isn't real by putting this quote out of context?

yes, because somebody may be prejudice against you because of your skin color. Black or White.

Everyone has the opportunity to experience racism. Whether you're a Latino in a white neighborhood, or a Latino in a black neighborhood, racism is sadly all around us.

Yeah fuck racism. I don't even know what that means. If I did I'd say it's just a societal bully. The only way to fight it is to ignore it to death, and not give people validation for harboring views like that.
