Dancing is such a sin!
I opened up firefox today and saw an article that I couldn't resist reading on AOL news. I laughed at it because a teen was suspended from his fundamentalist Baptist school in Ohio for going to the senior prom at his girlfriend's school. THEY SUSPENDED HIM! This was just too funny. :)

Lust, envy, sloth, greed, wrath, pride, gluttony.....and dancing. The idea that people should be allowed...to commit such an unspeakable act...of moving their bodies..... D: To.....MUSIC. It makes me want to throw up. Dancing is a gateway sin. You start off shaking your groove thing....then you touch guy's hands without wearing gloves....then....serial rape. Then murder, genocide....X_X I can't bear to watch our generation decintegrate like this....D: Oh and, in case anyone couldn't tell, this is complete sarcasm. :P And I'm really sorry that I can't spell decintegrate. :/ Side: Unspeakable evil

Dancing is an expression of joy that is made over and over by those who are joyous! It is not a sin to dance, but it is, however, nearly a sing to deny somebody the opportunity to let their joy out, and to be themselves! I respect the beliefs of that school, and I respect its rules, but I cannot respect the fact that they are attempting to spread the jurisdiction they have on their students off of the school grounds. I read about this before it happened, on Friday. They actually suspended him? I would drop out of that school in a heartbeat if such things were occurring while I attended. I am sorry for these people, and the beating they are about to take. I dance nonstop, and if anybody has a problem with it, you had better just get over here and tell me! Side: You're kidding...
