The way Catholicism teaches that the wafer actually becomes the flesh of Jesus Christ when they wave their magic wand over it, they actually are condoning a form of cannibalism. Catholicism is evil. The bread was symbolic of Christ's body, and the wine was symbolic of His blood. That is obvious as they took the bread from His hand and did not eat His fingers. The took the wine from His hand and did not suck his blood like vampires.

Why do people need explanations of the obvious? Did God make them stupid or are they responsible for being stupid?

What about commune and transubstantiation of the wafer to Christ's body? Isn't that religion condoning cannibalism on a weekly if not daily basis?

Yes, in the Roman Catholic service there is a practise which involves the priest giving the congregation a wafer of something,( don't know what it is) and with each piece he/she says, ''body of Christ''. Sure sounds like cannibalism to me.

This is true, it is actually a pagan ritual worshipping the sun god, and when they claim it magically changes into the actual body of Jesus Christ it is cannibalistic.

In His last supper, Jesus took the bread, blessed it, and broke it, passing it to His disciples saying "this is my body, eat, do this in remembrance of me". Real Christians follow the Lord's command I ceremony, remembering the He (Jesus) is the Bread of Life which came down from Heaven and He gave Himself to pay for our sins, His body was broken for us when He took our place in death. The bread is symbolic, and in the ceremony of breaking the bread and eating it, we identify ourselves with the Lord in unity with His purpose which is to bring us back from our sin, our dying, and save us from Hell to give us eternal life in His resurrection.

Catholicism is pagan idolatry and not Biblical Christianity.

But that is not the topic of the debate. Dawkins is condoning literal cannibalism and literally eating human road kill, and in his atheistic beliefs it is natural and even good if the culture permits it. If you are agreeing with Dawkins like you seem to be by avoiding talking about him, please say so. If you think Dawkins is insane from atheism, like I think he is, please say so. Any more comments not focusing on the discussion presented in the OP and the supporting video and you are banned. This is about the idolized leader of atheism and his beliefs, which he justifies by comparing real cannibalism in the dark jungles as normal for those societies and therefore not immoral when allowed by the culture. I don't know, I haven't seen much indication from you that you ever want to discuss anything other than your own feelings with have nothing to do with the OP in any of my debates, so don't let the door hit ya where the good Lord split ya.

The water that represents the body of Christ in Catholic Mass is called the Host. And the ritual of Communion is very different from cannabilism. For the Catholics, through a process they call transubstantiation, the host actually becomes Christ. As the wine becomes his blood.

Us Protestants don't belive in transubstantiation, but just think the wafer and wine are symbolic.

But for both the Prots and the RCC the Communion is only a way to commune with the holy spirit and the Christ. To have His Spirit in us. This is not even close to cannabilism. You should know this. Especially living in Ireland. Accusations of Christians being cannibals go way back to the persecuting Romans. I thought people knew better nowadays. Guess not.

God bless.

Dawkins was right. In a way. Without God and Christ in ouir lives there are no absolute morals. Atheism allows for a free for all in human actions and they can justify anything in the name of their science.

Booo Hooo to you, you feel like a troll is luring you in. If I'm a troll, then you are an idiot for letting me lure you in, aren't you? Personally, I think calling people "troll" is only a sign of your the caller's own intellectual weakness and emotional insecurity. It's very childish, the kind of stuff you expect from a twelve year old brat. I'm sure you find me to be unpleasant once again because I'm being truthful. How do you like me now?

If you can't learn to show some respect, you will always find me to be unpleasant no matter how reasonable I am. It's the same things between you and God, you find Him to be impersonal and uncaring because of your own attitude against Him when he is nothing but good and good to you and to all in this world all of the time......yet they provoke Him to anger and He lets them have the ungodly reality they want in Hell.
