Dearest Christians: What Are Atheists Afraid of?

I hear it often said when one object to Bible references that they are afraid.
--   "We don't believe the Bible"
      "sounds like you're afraid" --

kinda deal.

So, I ask you, dear Christians, what is it that these people are afraid of? I fail to grasp that part. They're always 'afraid', but afraid of what?

To the contrary, I am not afraid of Christianity or God or any of that other nonsense. I simply think it is an evolutionarily developed delusion that served its function as a coping mechanism but which is becoming increasingly obsolete. If anything, I am concerned by the tendency of Christians and other theists to impose their beliefs upon others with adverse consequences.

I ask you my dearest christian (that i can only guess you are). Why are you not scared of your religion. I can only guess you are the type of christian that has never read the bible and has also never read the old testament mean you do not know what the bible teaches you to think and what to do. If you ever get round to reading the old testament i would suggest not eating before reading it. Your religion, that you can not see why people might be scared to put them self into, is sick in so many different ways. Honestly i can not see how someone can believe in something that is so sick and vile. If you are a true christian that i can only believe that your argument is going to be then i would like to ask if when you give a "sacrifice" do you follow the bible and do it by the book or do you not do that... I am a bit confused because people argue that they as christians follow what the bible says and believe in it with a passion but you would argue that giving a sacrifice to your god is wrong...

I am not even lying look it up. Your religion is sick and everyone should be scared of it. I am not but you should be as a christian.

atheists are obviously afraid of sea-potatoes - their lack of belief in god restricts them and forces them to cast their mind to new ways of dying other than being turned into a pillar of salt

Well most aithiests are not afraid of anything but 10% are afraid of being wrong about how god dosn't exsist I'm cristian so yeah

I don't think atheists are afraid of any dire consequences for not believing.
