It's like you wouldn't show grief or sadness if outlaws would get brutally killed. They are pure bastards if committed to a death sentence but it would be inhuman. We humans progressed since then, and going back to the old rules is a big turn back. Killing someone for someone's entertainment. - Poisoning would be a better solution, and no mass murder is required. Unless another income scam on the news or the government. - Tournaments + police brutality + false imprisonment because of benefit it brings to the government. D you really want more bullshit to corrupt the future? Side: Do NOT ban death penalty in US
Life is corrupt, we might as well prosper from such. Is it not hypocritical for us to kill someone on the act of them doing the very same? It seems more just to have themselves killed from a fellow "outlaw." You say, "inhuman." That can't be something to discuss through ridding a life. No matter how you look at it, they die from someones hands. It's going to be inhumane no matter what, why not prosper from their death? Also i grief no one who has veered towards the path of weakness. Side: Ban death penalty in US.

1 in 4 people executed in Florida turn out to be innocent afterwards. Lets then turn this in to 1 in 3 innocents who are killed, and will never be proven innocent. Besides, two wrongs don't make a right, it is said. ( However, two negatives do make a positive..) Still, it's highly hypocritical.. But I've said this enough times. Got a problem with what I've said? Dispute me. Side: Ban death penalty in US.

Because killing a murderer is giving them the easy way out. Instead in the US and UK we should make prisons worse and force murderers to spend the rest of there lives there in misery. And there are times when you know for sure that some one is a murderer if there is proof but a lot of the time there isn't complete proof so innocent people in the past have been executed. Doubtfully it would get banned in a republic, sure in democracy since murder is bad. But where else could you find a more legal way kill? - And the killing must be as a punishment to the worst criminals, with as less pain as possible and efficiency. There need to be many sides supported and many other perspectives in order to make taking someone's life ok. And it should be banned for obvious reasons. Side: Do NOT ban death penalty in US
I think the death penalty is one of the several punishment in the law system, we shouldn't consider it like something insane, and moreover it's normal in some countries nowadays. The reason why I'm for death penalty is because some people can be so dangerous fir the society, like serial murderer or maniac, so that they must be punished by this method. Second reason is that prisoners, who committed very cruel crimes and have a life term punishment, shouldn't be provided by government. I think, it may be established like selfish and unfair decision, but for government it really affects economical conditions. In some countries this law bring a very effective results. People see examples of this kind of punishment, therefore firstly they think "should I commit this, or should I steal something or kill somebody". In this countries the statistics of the crimes is much lower than in the US. Just imagine: a very dangerous serial killer, prisoner served his term and then got freedom. He will kill or rape again. If he did it for once, he will do it again. Side: Do NOT ban death penalty in US

So here is what I am saying about the death penalty. If someone were to just murder one person, as did Yolanda Saldivar, they would need to spend the remains of their life in prison. If someone were to murder several people, then death penalty is needed. Side: Do NOT ban death penalty in US

Here in Australia, John Lesley Coombes brutally murdered a man and was sentenced to death. His sentence was commuted to life imprisonment. But in Australia "life" rarely means "life." He was released after 11 years and then murdered Michael Speirani. The reason he murdered Michael is because he coveted his car. The murder was particularly cruel. He lured Micjael out to sea in his fishing boat, hit him over the head when we was not loing, then threw him overboard. When Michael remained afloat and conscious, he ran over him repeatedly with the boat so the boats propeller would cut him to pieces. he was once again sentenced to "life" but was released again after 9 years, in 2007. He then raped and murdered rachel betts then cut up her body in a bathtub and disposed of the peices around the town he lived in. If this excuse for a human being had been initially executed, 2 innocent people would not have died horrible deaths. Side: Do NOT ban death penalty in US

When you kill, you go crazy. Jeffrey Dahmer went crazy, so he killed 17 people. He should have gotten the death penalty. Instead he was beaten to death. So that's good, long as he's not alive... But anyway, the death penalty should be used for murder and only murder. Sometimes Life isn't enough for a punishment. Side: Do NOT ban death penalty in US
