That's one way to look at it. Republicans look at it differently when it's convenient (and it usually is). Fact is, there's always a tax per mile.

The Democrats in office don't deny they will do this.

Fact is, there's always a tax per mile.

You left out that this would increase the tax you pay for driving.

Rump taxes made billionaires out of people that were not (really) supposed to get the money. Now we have to make up for the taxes they don't pay (A shame) . (At least these takxes will go where they'er intended!

That makes absolutely no sense in relationship to the topic. Gasoline is already taxed, and the fiscal numbers of how much any normal driver would pay in taxes to drive go up substantially if this passes, crushing the poor.

The DImocrats regard the motorist as an easy target.

If motorists don't pay the DIm's proposed exorbitant and totally unfair ''road usage taxes they will be picked off by the traffic cops ( only doing their job ), as well as being caught on the ever growing numbers of highway surveillance cameras and will have to pay the fixed penalty fines for illegally using a vehicle on a public highway.

On top of this they will of course have to fork out the dosh for the DIm's rip-off-tax.

Hey, lefties and easily led naive ex-Republican supporters;-BEAT IT IN TILL YE.
