President-elect Joe Biden on Thursday denounced what he described as an unequal justice system reflected in the lenient response to the mostly White rioters who assaulted the U.S. Capitol on Wednesday, suggesting a stark contrast with the treatment of racial justice demonstrators across the country last summer.

Biden is on the money 100 per cent right......

Double standards all the way.

Even hours into Wednesday's violence, protesters were filmed being escorted or guided out of the building without arrest. even appearing to be helped down the Capitol stairs and having doors held open for them to exit.

Another viral clip appeared to show a police officer posing for a selfie with a man inside.

Many rioters photographed and even live-streamed their crimes. One was pictured, his face uncovered, with his feet up on House Speaker Nancy Pelosi's desk, and then showing off a letter he appeared to have stolen from her office. A Confederate flag was paraded by another unmasked man and a well-known conspiracy theorist - wearing horns, fur and facepaint - was seen posing by a Senate chair that had been occupied by Vice President Mike Pence just hours earlier.

Nick Ochs, a known member of the Proud Boys far-right group, tweeted a selfie of himself inside and later told CNN: There were thousands of people in there - [the police] had no control of the situation. I didn't get stopped or questioned."

All summer we got riots that were most often left to the looters. The consequences were politicians praising the efforts of mostly peaceful looters and insisting on painting BLM on the streets.

In the hundreds of BLM riots last year, how many unarmed looters were shot by police? In the one Trump riot, they shot and killed one unarmed looter. How many police were killed fighting the hard fight in the hundreds of BLM riots? In the one Trump riot, an officer died from injuries sustained while fighting these garbage people. Was he killed from going easy on them?

Biden could have praised the brave officers who fought, and in one case died, defending the Capital against a dangerous threat to our liberty. Instead he cited his imagination as an undeniable example of DC police racism. Fuck him. The next four years are going to have a much calmer media class, but shit will not be better.

Those charged with the responsibility of protecting the Capitol Building were clearly wrong footed, and poorly briefed on how to respond in unison to such a scenario.

The reaction from the security agencies appeared to a fractured up, every man/woman for themselves affair.

Undoubtedly there will be an ''IN-DEPTH INQUIRY'' to find out how many 'wayward' individuals were present within the ranks of the security forces.

Hi. I don't know you, but you're being an asshole.

If you are going to insist that the Capitol police treated the rioters on the 6th with kid gloves, you may not even be wrong. Two people were killed. It's a fucking miracle that the cops didn't start unloading and stacking bodies. If you're going to insist that BLM would have been treated differently, you're also correct.

Because if BLM were behind this, the whole goddamn city of Washington DC would be burning down over the death of an unarmed woman storming the Capitol, and the media would be calling it "mostly peaceful", excusing the destruction because the Capitol building was built by slaves. As has been the pattern since the death of George Floyd, in case you haven't been paying attention.

For about nine fucking months, BLM and Antifa have been burning down business, churches and government buildings, assaulting and occasionally killing people in the streets with impunity. The media, government officials, and corporations have been standing in solidarity with them and making excuses. All while quietly beefing security around federal buildings when these riots kick off. Maybe you're right, maybe there would have been a worse outcome for BLM in this case, but only because the government won't admit that they underestimated the security risk of the MAGA retards and didn't temporarily increase security presence, which they obviously did during the 2020 protests.

The Capitol, the constitution, and basic tenants of our democracy were attacked, and here you are insisting that the cops defending the building were racist. That's an insult to the cops who were there, our institution of democracy, and our collective intelligence. Stay on the topic at hand, stop trying to point out a racist bad guy when that's not what this is about, and if you can't help yourself then please shut the fuck up, because you're not helping.

Stop being an asshole.
