Hello bront:

If WINNING is the sign of a good debater, he's a GOOD debater.

Darwin is not really understanding of the religion in his supposed own country so how can it debate an issue on religion without knowing the facts ?

Hi Excon thanks a lot my friend ................................

I had a perfectly civil and thought provoking debate with Dermot. Maybe it's because it wasn't on a deeply divisive issue though.

Thank you Winston and the feeling was mutual . Unfortunately on CD there are a fair proportion of extremely aggressive and sadly American theists who like this cowardly creature get others to attack another on their behalf .

Decent Americans never resort to bully boy tactics like this coward who posts debate after debate attacking atheists , Muslims , homosexuals and anyone who's different

Religion breeds ignorance and impedes progress

The majority of people accept Evolution as fact as the evidence in support is overwhelming, I came across this interesting piece from the pew research center it makes for rather sad reading .....

Of all the major religious groups in the U.S., evangelical Protestants are among the most likely to reject evolution. According to the Center’s Religious Landscape Study, a solid majority (57%) of evangelicals say humans and other living things have always existed in their present form. (About half of Mormons and roughly three-quarters of Jehovah’s Witnesses also reject evolution.) These views are largely mirrored by the positions of large evangelical churches, as well as, in many cases, by majorities of their members. For instance, majorities of those who affiliate with the Southern Baptist Convention (58%) and the Seventh-day Adventist church (67%) reject the idea that human beings evolved over time. By contrast, much smaller minorities of mainline Protestants (30%), Catholics (29%), Jews (16%) and the religiously unaffiliated (15%) share this view.

But the Italian would never attack Christians your hypocrisy is dully noted !You Leftist never have a clue as to what you assume of others !

Darwin you mean to say you were not attacking those you see as different. It's apparent you are a cowardly creature that just can't keep a story straight.

From what I've seen he's made some good arguments but he likes to mess with the overbearing Christians here, as do I. It's very entertaining. However that doesn't mean he isn't a good debater, when you get down to it he knows his stuff and he provokes thoughts.

Thank you Vermink , its laughable to call this mob Christians in it's fun to toy with them 😉

I don't know if you've read my total destruction of their poster boy for the anti Evolution side as in Lich Potato have a look over on my latest debate , he at least can string a sentence or two together but also resorts to lying to bolster his weak claims ; I've posted up examples of his previous statements and his latest denials , its too easy at times 👌😉

Definitely a good read :) to be honest it's funny how the creator is trying to demote your credibility as a debater yet he's made this unprofessional debate trying to attack you :P it's funny that it's back fired and you have more supporters!

Yes. He's debated me multiple times, brought evidence to support his position and responded to the evidence I presented to support mine. Though we agree and disagree on things it's never been uncivil, but it has been entertaining and thought provoking.

Thanks a lot Mint always a pleasure talking you are a decent intelligent person who always engages fairly and squarely and we do at times disagree but it's always a rewarding experience for me also

Disagreeing is part of the fun in this site. It lends to some interesting conversations and opens different sides that maybe neither of us considered before. So my question at this point is, does creating a debate, that calls someone out specifically, hurt the person or make them stronger? Because it seems like a debate created to trash someone is made with sour grapes.

Dermot is not a good debater. Dermot's style is that of a mental midget who knoweth not from whence he came or where he goeth.

It's actually tragic that you're so butt hurt you have to use one of your alt accounts

Side: sure

Dermot might could argue the best way to make a peanut butter and jelly sandwich. Beyond that, he has no idea what he is talking about, nor can he provide links or citations to support his claims. That's the exact way to debate if you want to be a poor debater.

Good enough that you think you need to target him.

And granted some of the trolls might claim that, but there's a difference between being the target because you're a troll and being one because you stand up to the trolls.

Thanks Grenache , I never liked bully boys and they always go the same way when beaten as in try and get a mob behind them , it's pretty sad really

All that I have seen dermot do so far is insult people and give poor arguments, if you can call them arguments. I just don't think he/she/it knows hows to debate. It's probably a 12 year old child based on its temperment and childlike vocabulary.

As you've became desperate enough to rename the sides (a tactic I also noticed with Stain), I guess that answers the question by itself.

Hi Jatin , yes indeed the sixth debate this year with me as the topic 😊 yes he learned that tactic from Stain ,his anticipated mob never arrived to support him 😊

Oh SHOOT. I hit the wrong button and debated on the wrong side. Sorry about that, I don't think I can change it either. Serves me right for debating before coffee.

Darwin has a problem understanding it's own words take a look at it's response to this post and then take a look it's post on religion. The confusion is so obvious that it has a hard time with reality and words.
