I would suspect that as a billionaire who sends people to space that he has a high ability to comprehend that Twitter was tanking for one simple reason, it censored most of the country for having an opinion. He probably figures he can take off the censorship, get double or triple followers, and the company will be worth even more than he paid for it. Side: Change public opinion
It was solely to defend freedom of speech and he helped us get that back. People were being banned for speaking against certain toxic groups who thought they can get us banned just for disagreeing. If it wasn't for Musk's purchase, alot of people would still be banned for justifying facts and truth against immorality and insanity itself. Side: Change public opinion
