Diet pills should be banned

Nowadays diet pills became more and more popular. The testimonial on a leading diet website is gushing: "I lost all the weight I wanted and then more - now I really love my body!" Most people believe all you have to do is take a pill and magically the weight will disappear. Considering they do more bad than good for a person, there is no question that the pills should be banned.

1) Ingredients in a Diet Pill

Taking a closer look at the ingredients used in the average diet pill, you can be sure to find caffeine in almost every diet pill on the market. There are other ingredients such as Ephedrine, which is one of the appetite suppressants, and Synephrin. Side effects include increased heart rate and blood pressure, insomnia, dizziness and headaches.

2) Easy to buy

Anyone, at any age, is permitted to buy this product. Man and women, don’t take into consideration that weight loss pills are dangerous and may not work. They just buy a bottle of something that promises them quick results.

3) Side Effects

In general, you can expect headaches, dizziness, nervousness, dry mouth, vomiting, diarrhea. In more serious cases, increased blood pressure and heart rate, heart attack, stroke, and heart failure are possibilities.

Don't be so rude! I don't think so. If someone wants to pump chemicals into their bodies, who am I to stop them? I mean, if they really WANT all those side effects that come with those stupid pills, they shall continue! That's what makes this great- the right to be stupid.

there are some strong disadvantages of diet pills:

The abilities of diet pills are often overestimated. If you decide to take weight loss supplements and do not change your eating habits and activity levels there will be only slight effects and totally unsatisfactory. You have to change your diet and start exercising, which is often not an easy process especially for beginners this is where diet pills come in place - to assist you in the beginning and help you start using weight.

More diet pills means more weight loss - absolutely not true. Some people think that the more times they take a pill for one day for example, the more weight they will lose - they are wrong. You must always read the prescription and follow it, and in the case of slimming supplements when you advance and get results you should strive to decrease their daily intake.

Interaction with other medications. There is always a possibility that your slimming supplements affect or be affected by other medications you are taking. If this is the case, contact your personal doctor immediately for advice.

In my opinion, diet pills should be banned, because it cause different consequences. People are looking for quick weight loss, pill is not solution!!!If u want to weight loss,u can do some special exercises. The second thing dieters are looking for in these diet pills is the ability to build muscle. The only way you can build muscle is through resistance training. In my opinion, this pills are a waste of time and money. I read that seven women have died due to the toxicity of the substance. Also, they could effect all organs in the body. And cause some mental problems. I agree with Katya 93 that some people think that the more times they take a pill for one day for example, the more weight they will lose - they are wrong.

I had a classmate who took diet pills. During the week she drunk 7 pills a day.

And she was taking them and she had nervous tic, her hands were shaking. It was awful to watch what was happening to her. In the end, it was put in a psychiatric hospital. From that moment, I realized that I need to take care of myself and I should not drink diet pills.

I totally agree with what you've said. Some lifestyle changes is all thats required. There is no quick fix when it comes to losing weight. Not all advertisements are true. Even if you lose weight quickly, it will be not good for your body. There is no need to take a diet pills at all, when you have healthy food and a pair of running shoes. Especially when you know, what kind of ingredients are present in it and what may happen later.

Here we go again, another overzealous busybody who thinks that banning things works like magic. Law is not magic.

Three Responses

ONE RATIONAL RESPONSE TO THIS SITUATION: "Oh. The law says that we must have permission to do this. We must ask for permission."

ANOTHER RATIONAL RESPONSE: "Oh. The law says that we must have permission to do this, but we can't get permission, so we won't do it."

YET ANOTHER RATIONAL RESPONSE: "This law sucks, and we will choose to break it by holding our event without permission."

We shouldn't ban this type of being slim. Because today there are a lot of people who are very big and fat, and they don't know how to overcome with their body problems. Some of them can't do it without diet pills that's why diet pills is the only way to become slim and to lose weigh.

Someone want to lose weight? Why nowadays people become so lazy? Is it impossible to get your fat butt up off the couch, and get away from your computer?! People should go outside and walk around the block. They should try to do this each and every day until it doesn"t make them tired, then should increase their walk to two blocks. Try to add more fruit and nuts to the daily diet (apples, bananas, and almonds) and also drink plenty of water. After all that, you will find that you never needed those stupid diet pills in the first place.

And you might even end up liking yourself))

Well you banning things isn't like magic. Like abortion. If a woman wants to have an abortion, she will have an abortion. If someone wants to drink alcohol, they will drink. When there is a will, there is a way.

Mostly anything is bad for you. Therefore, i say no to this debate. If you are going to ban one thing, you might as well ban the other. Too much water can cause kidney damage but our body need water to survive.

There are good effects and bad effects. I say it really depends on the health of the person. If the person needs it, take it. If not, don't. I think doctors should make that decision because they know more.....but doctors make mistakes too. sigh.

I believe in you Lord. But why put us on earth is there are risk of death is everywhere. It just makes me hate this world a bit more. But risks are surprises and surprises can be good....sigh. Heck, how would i even know if in the next second this computer will expl

Generally, we can’t compare these things, they are particular different. Our health is more important! However, in a desire to have a slim, beautiful body people often forget about their health!

These diet pills work by blocking and removing the fat you eat from your intestines. That can’t be good. Also they can habit-forming. Each pills containing amphetamine, (which still used to loose weight) and synephrine. You lose weight by burning more calories than you intake. Amphetamines cause weight loss by supressing the diet and increasing the heart rate. This is the wrong way to use this powerful drug. Effects on the body are unpredictable. This stuff can cause the burning away of muscle tissue.

If you want a nice body, you need to actually work at it. It means going to the gym and eating a balanced diet. Why peole don't want to understand that weight loss starts in the kitchen. If you're serious

about it, then you need to be serious about what you eat.

What about people who can't stop eating? Hence, binge eating disorders. I those people need diet pills that do help help control their appetites. Well you might say that they can eat salads. However, i learned (and this may be false) that a person stops eating because the brain "tells" them to. If the brain doesn't tell the person to stop eating, the person may never know when to stop. "may" or "may" not.
