Do You Support Julian Assange?

I think he's getting what he deserves. He wanted to play big power games at election time, and now he's living with the consequences. At least Hillary would have followed due process. Trump will likely cut corners to see him locked away for life.

His supporters rave on about journalistic freedom without realising that this man is not really a journalist. Not any more, at least. He became an opportunist and a publicity hunter who did a deal with the Devil. He was arrogant enough to interfere in a US election and now he is paying the price for his own naivety.

A message to all journalists: when you are right on the cusp of a US election between two candidates and an anonymous person sends you the private emails belonging to only one of those two candidates, then OBVIOUSLY don't print them. That is sheer reckless arrogance, not journalism. If you must print them, then for God's sake do it after the election!!!

I agree with you, but I don't agree that is what Julian Assange represents. He is largely responsible for the government tyranny which now exists through his choice to become a political pawn for the Trump Reich.

He is how we know CNN was feeding Hillary Clinton questions prior to debates with Trump, how we know Donna Brazil of the DNC thought Obama's economy was trash, and how we know the primary was rigged against Bernie and for Hillary.

Assange showed no proof of any of these things so you are either wrong or you are lying. Furthermore, it was obvious that the information he was getting was coming from her main political rival (or somebody connected to him), so he should have had more sense than to become a political pawn for a man who has been literally copying Adolf Hitler.

Your bias is obvious and indefensible, given that you have raised no questions about what might be in Trump's emails, and are overtly only concerned with justifying your own bias against Hillary.
