Well, it is human nature to expand territory, become powerful, be dominant, etc. Since people are going to be violent, we need to know how to defend ourselves, which will be violent. If you are a woman and are about to be raped, a gun with save you. If you are a countries leader, and your country is being invaded, a big army will save you. If you are a kid, being attacked by bullies, a minimal knowledge of martial arts will save you. Nothing solves everything, but violence solves itself. Side: Nothing solves everything

That simply isn't true at all! If everything led to a never ending cycle, everyone would be at war with everyone else, every insult would lead to never ending fights that would never end even with the death of the assailants, and so on.
