You need to care about what people think of you, to a certain extent. Organised society will grind to a halt if everyone does what they damn well please without worrying at all about what others will think. You, personally, will also not thrive in society if you don't care about the marks your teacher gives you, your work evaluation, your spouse's interest towards you, etc.
The trick is to figure out which things you should care about, and which things you shouldn't. Somebody you know thinks you have bad taste in music - who cares. You're an aspiring singer and your audience thinks you have bad taste in music - you definitely should care.
Ofcourse you do. Anybody who says they don't are liars. They tend to be the ones who care more than most what people think of them but just don't like to show it because they think they're 'cool'.
See, the issue with this is that everyone cares what SOMEONE thinks of them. If you say you couldn't give less of a shit what anyone thinks of you, you're a damn liar. If you really don't care, what's to stop you from walking into the street nude? No, no matter who you are, you care what someone thinks of you.
I show respect for peoples opinion but when it comes to me, you get what you get and if you don't like it then it's too damn bad and your loss because I'm awesome LOL
No, why should I? I try to live the best life possible, but I know I am not perfect, no one is. I cannot live my life for another, only for me, I make the best choices for myself and my family. What others think of those choices has no bearing on their eventual outcome, or my life in general. We all should try to do our best to live up to our potential, others opinions should not play a role in our self worth, ever.
I don't care what anybody thinks of me. If they don't like me then they really aren't important. People don't like me because I'm bi and that's not really a good reason to hate someone, is it? People always just take a look at someone and decide whether or not they like them. That wouldn't be fair to the other person.
its a widely known fact that no matter what you do or say,critics will criticize.so I say to you;do whatever the fuck you want as long as it is within the parameters of the law and you will be respected for it.
I don't care what others think about me. As long as I am comfortable in my own skin, try to do the next right thing, and can lay my head down at night knowing that I don't owe an amends to anyone, then it is all good.
