Well if you want a good life. Instead of wanting to have fun and enjoy the whole day...everyday "living in the moment". You must take the time to construct a better financial status, living arrangement and patiently wait for life to get were you want it to be. If you get bored, quit your job and go back to living in the moment before you even have stability, then you'll most likely live an unhappy life with non of your dreams fulfilled because of your lack of patience. If you are patient over a long period of time you can retire earlier and happy then you can live in the moment all you want. if you want to retire that is. Side: Yes

Follow the premise of this debate, which is this quote: "Patience and time do more than strength or passion." You seem to be talking about people who "live for the now" but strength and passion, in the way I am seeing and understanding this, does not logically imply "living for the now". It can indeed be understood in many ways but the implication of "living for the now", again to my understanding, does not imply simply having fun but running towards your goal with a passion or going through the toils of life with strength and resilience. if you are living in the now when the current "now" is you being 40 years old and still living with your parents because you don't have the patience to deal with a boring job. Then it's a bad thing. Strength and passion get you no where if you don't have the patience to plan for the future. Going with strength and passion can lead you do stupid things like robbing a bank and getting put in jail. because you didn't have the patience to get a job and manage your time so you could eventually get what you want.
