I would say yes but you may not forget them. They were the first one to stimulate that sensation so when you feel that sensation evidently you may think of them. I just feel like people have a hard time forgetting past love and they trick themselves into believing that they still love the other person. I may be wrong but this is just from a few friends I associate with. Side: No. ;)

No. I guess if you have gotten over them pretty fast, then you are not serious at all. I have experienced puppy love and I thought that it was the same as first love, but I gues it isnt. Till now, Im still together with my first love, and up until this day, I dont know why I still havent fallen out. :) Side: No. ;)

Takes time; but yes. True story: My ex-fiancee was in the same elevator as me and I didn't even recognize her, so I just smiled at her like she was some random stranger and turned my back on her after I walked in. Even after she said, "Aren't you even going to say 'hello' to me"?, I just looked her up and down having no idea who this strange woman was. She had to tell me her name! After she'd dumped me for some other guy, she married him and then tripled in weight! And THAT was the day I knew I was completely over my ex! Side: Yes. ;)

Well how do you determine "love"? That can be different for everyone. What does it mean to "get over someone"? That can be different for everyone. I think it is possible to forget your first "love", so no matter how that is defined, yes you can. I've heard psychological research has claimed that it takes as much time to get over a relationship as you have dated this person, regardless if this is true or not, I think it is probably much more circumstantial then that. Side: Yes. ;)
