Do you pray to God or Jesus
I haven't been on this website very long. I'm not going to downvote
anyone or ban anybody. I want to know, honestly, what people think. I have a question, and it's this: Do you pray to God or do you pray to Jesus? Sorry atheists.
I mean...it doesn't really matter. they're both the same person. I mean, if you believe in the trinity.

the "Father" is the creator. the part of god that at the beginning of the universe said "let there be light" and such. he doesn't really change creation at our petition.

The "Holy Spirit" is the part that actually kinda answers prayers. but does so by changing the hearts of men, and bestowing inspiration and determination.

I pray to God, but when I do I end my prayers by telling Her that I ask all this n the name of Jesus Christ, Her Special begotten Son, and my Lord and Savior.
There cannot be any difference because whomever we pray ultimately good is going happen. So there is no point whom we pray but we must remember that while we are praying we must clear and truthful.

Why are you afraid to admit that you are a Muslim? Most Muslims are peace loving and law abiding people who love their families and are kind to there neighbors in spite of the fact that the Koran says more than 100 times that Muslims are supposed to kill all infidels and jihadists are obeying the Krayon. This is not true. I remember as a baby before I understood language seeing evil things and trusting God was aware it was happening and in control, and I did not fear the evil....didn't like it, I bawled and screamed and made a big fuss, but I clearly remember knowing God was aware of what was going on and these people doing evil seemed to think He was not watching.
Atheists can only push this myth because most people have no memories of the time before they learned to speak and understand words. It is human nature to wonder about God, it is human nature that separates us from Him because it is natural for us to be selfish and go against Him. Even at that time when I knew evil as a baby, I was aware that it was selfish of me to get the evil to stop as it threatened my comforts........but I knew Justice is in God who sees it all, and I knew I had done nothing wrong by being in that place where evil was on display, so I felt protected by my own innocence.

He had done no sin, but took our sins on Himself and God withdrew Himself. That is why the sky was dark for three hours in the middle of the day as Jesus died. Because He is God, death could not hold Him in the ground and He will not be humbled by it again and His blood will cover your sins or it will be the winepress of the fierceness of God's wrath against your sins and you will be left dying forever in Hell.
If you believe on Jesus and receive Him as your Savior, He will, by His Spirt, the Holy Ghost, enter in to you and be in you a new life making you a new creation as a child of God. If you keep asking stupid questions insisting what God did for you to secure your pardon and save you from Hell is not good enough for you, all you have is death in your sin and your place will be in Hell. Wrong. when somebody prays to Allah the True Creator God (who, btw is not even close to Yahweh) acknowlesdges that the person praying is attempting to contact Him. Do you know what that means though? It doesn't mean that we look like the Creator. It means that we have the same qualities. We are all little versions of God. Jesus was not completely wrong. Allah isn't a name, it's a word. It's the word they use for God. When the bedouins were polytheistic they believed in a number of allahs. Now they say there is no god but God. The Path to God has nothing to do with logic. I know it sucks. Believe me, I know. When your intellect is above a certain level, it is very difficult to justify the existence of God. I was taken to church every Sunday. From age 6 I questioned my parents about God and religion in general. I didn't believe it.
I am 44 years old now, with a very firm belief that Humans were created, not evolved. I arrived at that conclusion recently. I can't pin it down, but within the last 10 years.
Our bodies are amazing. There is no way my body is an accident of evolution. I will not argue this point, this is my belief. God cannot be conceptualized with logic. You have to have faith.
