Do you support contraceptive choice?

Contraceptive choice is the radical notion that both men and women own their bodies and have the right to prevent conception. This is something that both prolifers and prochoicers can agree on. The right to choose contracpetion is a very important right. For the record, a contreceptive is an action or object that prevents conception. Now that we have that cleared up, please answer the question. I personally say yes.

Absolutely, it's a way to prevent unwanted pregnancy while still being able to enjoy the pleasures of sex. Also the pill, and other forms, have other WONDERFUL effects. Like shorter periods (a personal favorite of mine) and other things.

That is so cool that we agree on this . :)

Side: Yes.

Serious question: Why do you support contraception?

I must admit that this was rather unexpected.

Of course! Contraceptive was a huge aid in helping to reduce unwanted pregnancy, getting girls to finish their education, and making children more cherished because this time they're deliberately conceived. A person has the right to decide if they want a child or not through intercourse and they should be allowed to use contraceptives.

Yes. Using contraception is a personal act and any legislation limiting what you can do with your own body (given that it's not against another individual) is infringing on a very important civil liberty.

Use protection or Plan B if you wish to. Whether one agrees with you or not is up to him to judge and not to stop.

Contraception is one of those things we sparingly realize has prevented a world of hurt, and I don't just mean from an overpopulation standpoint. The variety, forms, and inexpense, of contraception has prevented disease, widened awareness, and assisted in decreasing the stigma behind sex; as though sex were something to be ashamed of conversely. And, not to forget, contraception has and continues to be a form of preventing pregnancy among already parents whom do not desire another child for whatever reason.

Side: Yes.

Yes, I only chose women who are on the pill, or have an IUD. ;)

Side: Yes.

Sure, the freedom to use contraceptives is purely an individual choice, but sometimes it is made as a couple. Any legislation restricting this choice is repulsive.

Side: Yes.

Both genders have the right to make contraceptive choices.
