Hello bront:

I dunno WHY not.. Even if you don't agree with him politically, there's NO reason to doubt him... Nonetheless, and WITHOUT any evidence whatsoever, YOU decide he's lying, just like you did to me..

Having lived as long as he has ISN'T incredulous.. That I was in the Navy ISN'T incredulous.. You just don't LIKE our politics, so you accuse us of LYING.. That's despicable..

Oh, I know... You won't admit that you accused him of lying.. You just asked an innocent question.. That's despicable too.

Looks like your brain does understand the logic, but the emotional appeal was too strong to resist.

I asked for the link or citation, and even provided you both of our debate waterfalls. You could not provide the goodies. Nevertheless, I didn't persist. Being a Vietnam vet, I can buy. Being a WW2 vet on an internet site is a bit of a stretch, technically possible, but highly unlikely. Nevertheless, he claimed to have lived in Europe and that he remembered Nazis beating on people's doors because their lights were supposed to be off. Then I found debates where he claimed to be an American. Thus, you have this debate that you are looking at.

Hello bront:

I dunno how to search.. I WOULD, if I could.. I find NO operating instructions anywhere on this site.. That's why you had to help me link some stuff a while ago.. I checked the FAQ's.. Nothing there... I looked everywhere.. You seem to know how to do it.. Wanna clue me in?

I do indeed believe he is an older man, maybe even approaching traditional retirement age. But I went back and found the WWII comment and read the tone and it doesn't sound like someone quite that ancient. Also looking at his profile he has never ever launched a debate of his own, which leads me to believe he is a puppet avatar of some other older member of this site. And you can't really believe anything a puppet avatar says to you.

He has claimed to be from Europe and remembers the Nazis knocking on doors. In this debate he seems to be from the United States.

I don't think so, but does it really matter?

First off, from what I've gathered from his and your posts, Al has more brains in his arse than you do in your whole bleedin noggin.

Granted, I'm not here very often. Only about once a month when I finally come home for a bit between my job travels.

And...he's told us his age.

He's 80. He had said as much in his posts. He also explained that he was alive as a child but didn't fight in WWII. I believe him since he knew the correct terminology for the times. Like Air Wardens.

He never said Obama dropped bombs in WWII. He never claimed to have been confronted by Nazis. Not from what I've read, anyway.

If a child was around in the WWII era and thereafter, he would undoubtedly have been exposed to much talk and conversation from elders about bombing and war policy. Plus, he's most likely a history buff and well read in his retirement.

In other words, a far more credible and believable source on those topics than you'll ever hope to be.

Run along now, Skeezix, mommy's got your dinner ready.

Cheers.
