If people don't think much about girls hitting guys or guys hitting guys, then why does it matter if it goes the other way around. I know that if the question were "Do you think it is right for a guy to hit a guy?" that most people would answer yes without even saying "for a reason" or "under circumstances." Thus, it shouldn't apply to this question either. Side: yes

I know plenty of weak girls that can throw a killer punch. It's often a matter of skill, rather than strength. But who ever specified how hard the guy hits a girl? It's unlikely that he'll go "all-in" and beat her black-and-blue. I'm just saying 'hit', not 'beat up'. Side: yes

Well, I don't consider either gender harming the other gender is ever "right" except in cases of self defense. I assume you mean that if it's fair for a girl to hit a guy, is it fair for a guy to hit a girl. If that is the case, then yes it is completely fair in my opinion. If you're going to use the argument that because a person is weaker, therefore you shouldn't hit them, then this should apply to weak guys as well. But it doesn't. Strong guys bully and beat up weak guys all the time. You will get a much bigger reaction from society if a guy hits a girl, than if a guy hits another guy noticeably weaker than himself. I do not believe it is "extra" bad if a guy hits a girl. It is just as bad if a girl hits a guy. Both are unacceptable. Unfortunately society has many double standards, this being one of them. I don't think it's "right" to hit anyone. But I also don't think that women should be afforded any particular guarantees simply because of a romantic history of women being considered the "fairer sex". I won't pretend that this is an ethical statement or one based on "looking out for the future of women", but I don't think that equality should be cherry-picked. Side: yes
Yeah, if a guy POs me, I can punch him in the mouth, but if a girl POs me and i punch her in the mouth, people get all mad. Where is the justice in that? I'm not saying that I like hitting girls, but aren't we supposed to treat them as our equals? I saying that there is no difference. Side: yes

It is wrong for a member of EITHER sex to physically harm the other. I'm not pretending that I'm not a hypocrite on this issue, I've slapped my guy friend in the face before....but it really isn't right for a girl to hurt a guy. Or for a guy to hit a girl either, of course. Two exceptions: ....this one is awkward...x_x But you know...rough sex is one exception because the other person is cool with it. Just as long as no permanent damage is done, this is okay, in my opinion. The second exception is self-defense. If a girl is physically stronger than a guy and he can't get away without hurting her, then he has the right to defend himself. Side: No
It's wrong for a guy to hit a girl for no reasons what-so-ever. But if the girl likes to abuse him, then by all means, he may hit her......... personally, anyway. I mean, if he hits her anyway no matter how much she hits him, pretty much anyone is going to side with the girl and treat the man like a criminal. In the description of this debate, I said do you think that guys should be allowed to hit girls, or do you think they they cannot hit them NO MATTER WHAT (meaning never). You're listing certain circumstances in which you believe that a guy should be allowed to hit a girl...but then your vote is for 'No'. Side: yes
Well, because for the most part, I believe it's a no situation. Overall guys are stronger than a girl and can break their arms or whatever they want, intentionally or not. But if a girl is hitting a guy ALL the time, what is the guy suppose to do? Turn it into sex? (haha, eh). I dunno. but more or less, neither should be hitting each other. Side: No

I am of the opinion that it is wrong for anyone to hit anyone for any reason whatsoever! If one is that bereft of tools that they would have to lash out in that way I think serious help is in order. No one has the right to lay their hands on someone in anger or for any reason whatsoever. Side: No

Hell, no! While this is painful to admit, females are generally the weaker of our race. It's immoral to allow such a thing. Disgusting, really. How could someone even think about saying thats alright!? Males get the muscles. Females are alot of the time delicate. Not always, mind you. I don't think they all are. This question is not dumb. If anything is dumb, it would be your argument. No one specified how hard anyone was hitting anyone. So just like many people, you assume that I'm talking about an ass kicking when I'm simply referring to a hit. Just because girls are girls do not give them the right to immunity to every single little thing. Side: yes
