Yes. By judging a persons skin color you can see what race they are, where they are from, etc.

How can you tell where a person is from by looking at the color of their skin? What if they are white and from South Africa? What if they are Black and from Brixton in England? What if they are middle eastern, and from Detroit?

Moreover, you cannot see what "race" they are. Race is an arbitrary construct. We are all human, and genetically, we are almost identical to each other because our species is so young. There is no fundamental difference between the different "races." So, seeing what "race" someone is, is totally useless.

Well said. I believe we are all one human race. :)

Aside from approximate amount of melatonin in their skin and the statistical likelihood of them being at risk for certain conditions, no.

Whoopsies. Good catch.

It is neither right nor wrong; judgement is a fact of human existence. The appropriate question would be whether it is accurate.

You can't judge what someone is like as a person by their skin pigmentation. It's retarded.

I'm not so sure. I'm positive you can judge anybody based off of skin color alone, but that judgment may pose to be incredibly inaccurate.

This really is a stupid question. You can't judge someone by the color of their skin. If you do, your a moron. If your a moron, then they, if anything, should be the one judging you.

Their skin color is not a reflection of their personality.

Well technically you have to, and we make all sorts of judgement every single day, almost all day, not that those judgement are necessarily bad or good.

So I wouldn't say it's right or wrong to judge a person by the color of their skin, it's just natural, and it depends on what the judgement is about.

Yes. Like, for example, when ever I see white people out in the sun I'm like, "I hope they put on some sunscreen 'cause if not, they are going to be hurting tonight." ;)

If I see someone who is extremely pale, I think I can safely assume that they don't get out in the sun much. That has a strong correlation with certain personality traits and activity preferences, even if it is not 100%.

It would not be wrong for, say, a surfer looking for new friends to surf with to focus on people with tanned skin and overlook those who are as pale as the driven snow.
