Do you think large vehicle drivers are more reckless/aggressive/likely to be distracted?

Large vehicles being mid- to full-size SUV's and full-size Pick-up trucks.

Examples are (GMC Envoy, Yukon, Ford Flex, Ford Excursion F150, Dodge Durango, Ram 1500 and up, Lincoln Navigator, Cadillac Escalade, Hummers, Nissan Titan, Nissan Armada, Honda Pilot, Chevy Silverado)

No commercial 18 wheelers or busses, campers, trolly's, limo's.

If you consider the fact that larger vehicles tend to be better protected, the subconscious mind of the driver of one has less anxiety over crashing, largely due to the fact that it would be the smaller vehicle's driver who would get hurt the most, this offers less base for alertness and hence renders them more likely to be distracted.

Depends on if we're talking about assholes with big shiny trucks, then absolutely. City buses, not so much....

Side: Yes

City buses have a huge amount of lives at stake compared to a one-man driven lorry.

This cancels out the lack fo concern due to their vehicle being bigger saving themselves in the crash, since they are now potentially responsible for the deaths and injuries of many in the event of a crash.

I hear many using the "I feel safer in something bigger" excuse while I personally wonder, "How many accidents do you expect to get into?" Most, not all, crashes can be avoided if paying attention and driving responsibly. It is difficult to comprehend buying such a large, cumbersome vehicle because they are so "fun to drive."

Supporting Evidence: SUV Statistics (ocp.ga.gov)
Side: Yes

It is extremely presumptuous to presume that merely due to the size of the vehicle one drive that they are more or less likely to be distracted.

Noooo, if I were driving one of those big vehicles, I'd be terrified. There'd be nothing reckless about me!
