Do you think that anonimity has a positive affect on debating?
We don't know the other persons race, age, sex, or creed. We say what is on our mind without worrying about offending another person. Do you agree?

The person you're debating with isn't the only potential viewer. Would you say something racist if you were certain your debate partner wasn't of the race in question? On the other hand, perhaps you're debating with an african- american person. Would your argument be scrutinized so that nothing you say could even hint at slavery? I think I would rather not know. I wouldn't mind knowing the age and gender, but not race, religion, political affiliation and so on. It has been my experience that those questions are answered regardless. Anonimity regarding choices, I don't care regarding the rest :) 1
