There is an actual disease that is very similar to "the zombie plague", but the "zombie" does not get super strength or anything the blockbuster films advertise. And they are not undead, they would die as easily as we would. So it is possible but not as END OF THE WORLD as you would think. Side: Yes

If debating had card hands, I would equate cracked to a royal flush. I doubt the zombie outbreak would last very long, but it IS possible. Side: Yes

No, because I dont think it is physiologically possible to reanimate necratized flesh. I think the idea of zombies is based almost entirely on imagination rather than scientific plausibility. Neurological connections are degraded, how they could metabolize and transport oxygen if their blood is coagulated is beyond me, there are many problems like this that dont make sense. The only modern basis for the notion of plausibility of zombies is that when stimulated by electrodes dead tissue can have a neuro-muscular response, however, i believe that this response reduces over time because necessary biological components degrade or are used up - no active circulation to replenish them. if cells are dead the mitochondria cannot synthesize things like ATP which is the universal chemical fuel that allows for cellular processes to occure and biomechanical actions to be possible. people like to think of viruses or bacteria being the possible cause of zombie plagues but the natural emergence of such a virus or bacteria seems so far fetched that we can dismiss it, also, the engineered emergence of such a virus is so far from being a reality - even if it is possible, which i doubt. The other option is a supernatural cause but since the there is no evidence for any supernatural claims this is not a reasonable belief either. Side: No
