I used to believe in the quaint notion that, in exchange for NOT murdering my neighbor, I'd GIVE up murder and let a "Justice System" act in my stead.. I BELIEVED the innocent would go free, and the guilty would be punished.. But, that ain't happening.. Through asset forfeiture, and the drug war, the cops STEAL our money and MURDER our people.. I could do a better job of dispensing justice my own damn self. And, isn't that what vigilantism is, after all? excon Side: Sometimes

ONLY IF THE VIGILANTE DOESN'T BREAK THE LAW and COOPERATES WITH UNCORRUPTED POLICE. COMPARE V FOR VENDETTA VS BATMAN. Vendetta kills all who gets in his way and yet he doesn't see that he is defending the wrong people such as that lesbian girl who rebelled against her family. Vendetta just wants anarchy and isn't a hero. He is an anti hero vigilante, a loose cannon, a very dangerous one.
