Does God Care About ManKind?

Does God actually care about mankind, his supposed children, in the same way a father or mother would care for their children? Does he actually care whether his children die or not, or whether his children spend eternity in hell?

Yes God cares about His children (the one's who are following Him) by giving them support and faith to live under this corrupted generation and hard times they are facing.

Does he actually care whether his children die or not, or whether his children spend eternity in hell?

He cares that is why there is the Gospel out there and Christians are trying to spread the Gospel to everywhere before its too late and Christ comes back . Its our own choice to decide God or not but we will be ether rewarded or face the consequences of our choice. That is why we have free choice and God isn't a puppet that says believe me or die. Hell wasn't originally for us. It was for Satan and his followers but since sin entered mankind and people went there own ways because they didn't want to obey God they went on there own path and suffered the consequences.

Well may christians argue he loves EVERYONE. Not just christians but atheists and muslims and wiccans ect. Also, the faith and support he gives are illusions. Wishfull thinking by deluded christians and nothing more. Its a placebo effect.

Not to mention, hard times that HE created because technically he plans everything so he is technically responsible for every bad thing ever. So why make these hard times and why not stop them if hes all powerfull?

He cares that is why there is the Gospel out there and Christians are trying to spread the Gospel to everywhere before its too late and Christ comes back

Well the gospel is some shitty evidence to base and entire belief off of. Its completely full of flaws and absurdities and everything it claims is completely inconsistent with what we observe about the natural world today. So why didnt he make a more compelling piece of evidence to give to people so its easier to be convinced to believe?

.Its our own choice to decide God or not but we will be ether rewarded or face the consequences of our choice

Two big problems.

First off, God plans everyones lives from start to finish and therfore there is not only no free will by us but god also makes us non believers and/or knows we wont become christians from before the day were born. Why not make everyone christians from the start? And i know what youre going to say:

Oh god gave us free will.

Well no, he didnt because he is omniscient so that is impossible. And also id like to site Exodus. The plagues of egypt were caused because phoaroh wouldnt let the isrealites out of Egypt. BUT before the plagues god tells moses that "I will harden phoarohs heart and he will not let you go". And he does just that. He directly fucks with phoarohs free will to give him an excuse to destroy them. Free will is an illusion.

And 2) Belief is not an on/off switch. You dont choose to believe anything. You must be convinced to believe. For example, no matter how hard you and i try we cannot re-believe in santa clause. Its impossible. We dont choose to believe in him, we have to be convinced. Now if santa appeared before me and introduced himself and explained how he deliveres the presents ect. then i would be convinced and i would believe in him. So when you say we decide to believe in god that is wrong. Some of us are convinced to, others are not. And the ones who do are basing it off of no evidence whatsoever.

That is why we have free choice and God isn't a puppet that says believe me or die.

LOL knew it. See my above argument for the free will part.

As for the puppet thing. That is EXACTLY what he does. Hell is a direct threat to believe in him! For example: i strap you to a chair and hand you an apple. I tell you you can eat the apple or not. its up to you. you have free will to eat the apple or not. BUT i put a gun to your head and will blow your head off if you eat the apple. But hey your choice!

That is exactly what god is doing. The apple in my analogy above is heaven/believing in god. The gun is hell. And in that situation i am god for giving you the choice and holding the gun.

See what i mean?

You dont REALLY have an honest choice in that matter.

Hell wasn't originally for us.

But god KNEW from the beginning of time we would be sent there in the future. He is all knowing and even before he made the universe he knew he would create hell and send us there. Its not like humanity sinning was a big surprise for him.

It was for Satan and his followers but since sin entered mankind

and god KNEW satan would rebel. So why make satan to begin with? And why not just smite him and be done with it? Why make a place for them to go and live knowing full well that humanity will go there one day and the demons will escape to earth to wreach havoc on humanity? God is a big idiot. OR this shit isnt true. I vote the second/

they didn't want to obey God they went on there own path and suffered the consequences.

First off, again, no free will. God knew they would disobey him

Secondly, they didnt choose to disobey. Eve or adam i forget, was CONVINCED by the serpent in the garden to eat from they tree. Which god knew would happen. So why make the snake? And why make a fucking tree that they cant eat from? Again, god is an idiot.

Side: No, because...

Well by this we have to insert the statement "God is real (temporarily)". So let me ramble on while taking the position of this statement.

I would assume so. The argument against this is the argument that shares itself with suffering. Suffering is probably the biggest argument that someone can use.

"Since “all have sinned and come short of the glory of God” (Romans 3:23), there is no one who has the right to freedom from God’s wrathon the basis of his own innocence." - ChristianAnswers.net

" The world is now under God’s Curse (Genesis 3:17) because of man’s rebellion against God’s Word. This “bondage of corruption,” with the “whole world groaning and travailing together in pain” (Romans 8:21-22), is universal, affecting all men and women and children everywhere. God did not create the world this way, and one day will set all things right again. In that day, “God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain” (Revelation 21:4)." ChristianAnswers.net

Well according to this they suffer because of sin. Which everybody is born with and this all goes along with his divine plan. This would be a three step plan.

1) Paradise

2) Paradise Lost

3) Paradise Regained

Since he strictly will not intervene with free will this is how he must put the world back into perfect order. Suffering, by the action of free will of Adam and Eve, is something God doesnt want to see. By this he must understand a lot about free will, or more precisely, everything about free will. Everybody will sin. If you sin you put yourself into a state of suffering. He cares so much about us that his son played martyr. This was the turning point leading to the era of deliverance of divinity making it possible for all of man kind to inherit the "kingdom of God". He cares and tries to bring us in but either we accept or decline his offers and with the absense of light darkness rules in the domain we allowed it to and qith darkness comes suffering, death, pestilence, fear, and blindness.

This is just what I have studied so far.

Yes. God cares about us. He loves us and wishes we did not harm ourselves by refusing to do his will and keep his commandments.

Bull. God does not care at all. Where the fuck was He when I was raped? He was "allowing free will". Thanks but no thanks.

Side: No, because...

god does care about man kind because if he did not care he would not let people come up to where he lives every day and if he did not care he would have not have made of.

Yes for god so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son that whoever believes in him shall never die but have eternal life. john 3:16

also in the bible, everyone was made by Him. why would he make us if he didnt want us? in bibleclass we sang a song about how he loved us and is our heavenly father. why would he say that if he didnt mean it? because he did mean it. God is perfect He would never lie. EVER.

haven't you ever heard of the divine plan? Once it's in motion cannot be changed? God dusted his hands off and whistled a horrific tune as he walked off to claim his pedestal the day he was finished with initial creation. I find it mildly amusing that he had all our prayers already preordained and knew he wasn't ever going to listen to them.

He looked at me with blank eyes and turned away, shutting the door behind him. I was left alone in this unfamiliar room. I collapsed onto the bare mattress of my new bed and wept as the last few days hit me over and over again. I felt trapped in a spiral of pain and despair as I watched my parents and my older brother die before my eyes over and over again as I lay frozen with fear.

I felt for the gash that now lay across my chest and my left arm and my searching fingers hit plasters. I can’t cry anymore. I feel hollow, almost dead inside. I don’t want pity, I don’t want help, I just want to die.

I remember running, my hands covered in blood. Sirens whooped in the air and the rain lashed my face, washing away the tears that had not yet come. I can’t cry anymore. I feel hollow, but thoroughly alive. I don’t want help, I just want to run. Bare feet on slick concrete, and the sound of hard boots following me at a quickened pace, voices cry out to me. I laugh; I dance, and allow my emotions to take me. Gloved hands force me against a wall and cold metal snaps around my wrists. Under arrest… on suspicion of murdering my family… well yes, I killed them. I killed to replace my tears.

Those weren’t my memories. And yet somehow they were. I remember being arrested, and then let go under lack of evidence. I remember the interior of a police van, and my soaked clothes sticking to me. And now I can remember a knife in my hands, wet with their blood. My hands gripped at the wooden handle, and I screamed. The knife was here, I can feel it, I can see it. Half of me screamed and some distant corner of my mind laughed hysterically. My hand moved of its own will and brought the knife to my chest.

The door slammed open and cool hands wrenched my arms back. The knife… the knife wasn’t there.

“Don’t.” He said. I stared, not at him but through the triangle of vision created by my hair, his hair and his shoulder. I could almost see a figure standing there, mocking me.
