Does Human Selfishness Dominate Our Lives?
After raising the concept of human selfishness in another debate, I decided to pose the question here.
Just how influencial is selfishness? How strongly are our lives dominated by it?

The fact that everything we do is based on our own values makes every action inherently selfish. Even very altruistic acts (say giving your life for someone else, or working hard to support someone else's life) are ultimately performed to satisfy our own loves and values. For that reason, I think our lives are dominated by selfishness, even if we choose to live for others. Side: Absolutely
