CreateDebate is a social debate community built around ideas, discussion and democracy.
If this is your first time checking out a debate, here are some quick tips to help get you started:
Arguments with the highest score are displayed first.
Argument replies (both in favor and in opposition) are displayed below the original argument.
To follow along, you may find it helpful to show and hide the replies displayed below each argument.
To vote for an argument, use these icons:
You have the power to cast exactly one vote (either up or down) for each argument.
Once you vote, the icon will become grayed out and the argument's score will change.
Yes, you can change your vote.
Debate scores, side scores and tag scores are automatically calculated by an algorithm that primarily takes argument scores into account.
All scores are updated in real-time.
To learn more about the CreateDebate scoring system, check out the FAQ.
When you are ready to voice your opinion, use the Add Argument button to create an argument.
If you would like to address an existing argument, use the Support and Dispute link within that argument to create a new reply.
Basically I would tweak the wording a little, but yes. Satan = Living Truth. Since the dark Lord is eternal truth, he is actually beyond life or death.
lBasically. I would tweak the wording a little, but yes. Flying spaghetti monster = Living Truth. Since Flying spaghetti monster is eternal truth, he is actually beyond life or death.
joy you really have to start living...you have no life you just post stupid debates on this stupid boring site witch have only 2-3 peoples online every time so if you wanna be famous go to another site this one is dead
Might u started...living. If dis site is boring wat u doing here....go then.simply duff people mAkes dis sitelow like u........n regarding debate thissite is to people perspective...not advices....ok .
Definitely not steady! No, the universe changes shape all the time, according to my logic anyway, large transformations like the big bang, and small ones such as movement....
The singularity/or whatever it was, was the universe, in that state. I think it might expand and collapse continuously- but I'm not sure as I have no proof.
No one has any proof, which is a major point many people forget about. The theory you've chosen to support now could be any number of models known as Cyclic Model and is entirely possible. The best thing about all of these cosmological models is that they all work without god in the equation.
Science is just looking at and explaining things- finding knowledge. So it applies to anything and everything- that is the point I am trying to make, ..n nthgelse.... it does not matter what language or sounds are used, the meaning and knowledge is the same.
Communication and interpretation are the only ways to record and rely the events we observe. To date no one has actually observed god, only his supposed effects. It's confusion of causality, simply put.
Many people saw god.......believe it or not...but god is everythg....creature of dis world is god....n ur mind also dats why u al able to think n write here
No one has ever provided any empirical evidence supporting the god hypothesis; ever. God only exists in the minds of believers, and it is there his power is contained. Reality gives him no quarter, nor will it ever bend to the will of his minions.
Believe if you wish, I don't care to stop you. I only wish for you to consider the absurdity of a personal deity. An all-powerful deity, capable (allegedly) of living outside of our known reality. Capable, it's told, of creating consciousness and matter, defying ever scientific law ever established. He literally created everything.
BUT not only does he supposedly care about you, he's got two ass-tons of rules that you must follow to prove that you love him correctly or else you'll burn in hell for eternity.
Not only is that incredibly arrogant on the part of humanity, it's also way too masochistic for my taste.
"This religious topic...nt an science...science cnt compare nature....dear"
This is known as Non-overlapping magisteria (NOMA): the view advocated by Stephen Jay Gould that science and religion each have "a legitimate magisterium, or domain of teaching authority," and these two domains do not overlap.
I did down vote you, I do know I lose a point when I down vote, and I down voted you again. Weather or not it makes any difference matters not to me, I only wish to show I find your arguments lacking any logic or inherent reason.
What are you talking about? Lacking any logic and inherent reason? Me? You're the liberal!!! If there's anyone here that lacks logic and inherent reason is you, buddy ;)
Argument from assertion; a common mistake. If you care to debate a specific topic, I'll be happy to oblige. Blanket insults will get you nowhere, though.
Really? I think that might have flow over my tiny liberal brain had you not pointed that out! Good thing I've got a good conservative to help me out, as they are wont to do...
If you ever have a coherent argument or legitimate point, feel free to contact me again. If not, I'll assume that you're shooting big guns or exploiting the poor.
And in your jest lies the heart of the issue; The wealthiest Americans are working towards the implementation of some sort of caste system, I'm convinced. It's always been this way in ill-regulated markets.
All people....this is for all above persons...ok......life plus truth is equal to God......yes its true.....god...is in our inner soul....false n truths we decie....n dnt forget this world n ur body...is bczof god........joe....this is very good debate topic...people who r against they r sick of their life n might they believe in false hood.....so life is truth..n truth is god....:)))))
I'm going to have to translate this, tell me if I'm wrong, right?
Everyone above, life plus truth is equal to God, I believe this. God is in our soul, and we can see truth. This world is our body, because of God. Joe, this is a very good debate topic. Non-theists are sick because they believe lies. Life is truth, truth is God, smily face with doubledoublechins.
Actually my life is a lot different than that, and there's an irony in what you say- but I am not going into that. Have you ever read the old testament? How can you say that you know the meaning of that particular deity, when you believe that it is a positive being?
I'm amused. Artificial? I'm Wiccan, I believe in forces of nature and the possibility of higher powers, I believe there is a lot more out there than we currently know. I believe that the earth is the most important thing to us, and it must be protected.
I support the "nope" view and I am quite content! If you wish to think of me as some miserable, atheistic, grumble-hobbit that's fine, though. Placing all your trust in an imaginary being and allowing a over-grown cult to lead your life must be crushing.
You hypocrite I never said you couldn't call me that without me calling you an insufferable distraction in return, you null-space. ;)
Offer me proof of anything supernatural; something outside of the realm of the known laws of physics that could only have originated from something conforming to the generally accepted notions of god, ghosts, goblins, ghouls, gremlins, or green men, and I'll let you have your seemingly sacred last word.
The fact that despite your endless replies you have yet to bring up one substantial point; you prattle on endlessly without one useful thing passing through your skull. If you were anymore like a congressman, you'd be in office by now.
You pleasure yourself in your witless drone, and though I'm perfectly aware you'd be lost without a soul to aggravate, I continue to engage you in the hopes you'll tire and slink back into the desolate abyss you call an intellect.
