Technological progress is good because it gives us the power to share our ideas and grow businesses and share our ideas. With technological progress we can teach better by adding chrome books into schools (like ours) and have the ability to take our work anywhere. Some parts of the progress could also be bad. Say they start building more complex technical weapons or bombs and start to terrorize all over the world. But also its good cause we can defend using our new weapons or defense's too. The new technology coming out could be a variety of good and bad. Cars like the Tesla could make a huge impact on the world as less gases would enter our lungs and create less Climate Change. Technology got us pretty far so far, let's see what it could keep doing for us.

I believe that the technological advancements in today's society is bad because other countries have access to some of the most deadly weapons that could that out half of a continent for example North Korea was constructing a miniaturized silver spherical nuclear bomb which was only obtainable due to the advances it technology. But on the other hand technology advances are also very good to society because in many schools they are using technology to their advantage because students have access to laptops which will help them take notes and the laptops will keeps things in one place and there won't be a higher risk of losing anything.

I think Technological progress is Good Because In today people use it not for just killing but to see if there is a way to live on other plants , how long we live, and more Advancements that can help scientist find more new things about the world. Yes there is a lot of bad things but there's more good things that happen such as helping military personals using drones to find and locate an enemies to be more safe and have less casualties in a war or fight. Also the new technology can help doctors how to fight incurable diseases and locate how to get rid of it. It's good in today's society to have new technology because every year people are getting cured not dying as much and also living longer than people did back then. We can use the new scientific technology to do things for us and help us if we don't know and help us figure what we need to do in order of a crisis.

Technological progress is good to an extent such as health, transportation, and luxury, but it will go to far to the point of maybe we have our iPhone's as our arms, We have people lifting 200 pounds like its nothing, we have people not even lifting a finger to get things done, none of this is good, yes it sounds unbelievable and cool , but where's the hard work if you can lift 200 pounds because your parents changed your chromosomes before you were born you didn't earn it all you did was get handed that gift. We may have a terrorist wipe us out with airborne form of a disease, because we had the technology to make that happen, we may have a full out nuclear war because every country has evolved into having at least one nuke, and when do we ease on the brake were going to fast at this point the quicker we keep going, the quicker we seal our ticket to extinction by ourselves. Furthermore in 2017 we are a society and country that is obsessed with our smartphones, and most people own one and use it on a daily basis, hardly considering the amount of technology that is sitting in the palm of your hand. Some people might agree with me so far, but still hesitate to say that technological progress is a good thing. They might argue that technology will one day be too powerful for humanity's own good. This is the farthest thing from the truth, for technology can only do good in our society, for we as the creators of it hold the ultimate reigns over it therefore we should not be concerned about it harming us. Technology is the crucial component that we as humans must utilize in order to advance as a society, and hopefully one day into a more advanced civilization.

I think that the Technological Process is good because ever since we started making technology better, our lives have been easier than ever before. Since the creation of the smartphone and drones, lives are being saved and spared because we can call 911 in the press of a button and we don't need to put people in the line of enemy fire. Yes, technology can be used to cause bad things like drone shooting errors, cyber bullying, homemade bombs, virus or errors in A.I and robots, but we can deal with these things because we keep enhancing technology and making it better.

Some people may fear technology because of the bad things people can use it to do, but overall technological progress is beneficial because it makes our world smaller and brings people closer together than they have ever been before. With the advancements in communication technology, people are now able to communicate with people all around the world with the literal press of a button. These technologies not only allow people to stay close even when separated by distance but it also allows for the quicker spread of news and helps the common citizen to be more informed of the world and what is going on around them. With the easy access of the internet on mobile phones and the widespread availability of television, people are able to keep updated on the current news and receive updates almost as soon as something happens. For example, when 9/11 occurred all of America was able to know what was going on in New York live through the news that was broadcast on TV. This helped to unite all of America during this tragic time in our history. So even though it was technology that caused 9/11, without this technology the US wouldn’t have been able to come together to fight back. All in all, technology brings people together, and without it we wouldn’t be where we are today.

But I think that the technological progress is good because it can help us in many different situations. For example every time technology advances we learn more about diseases and how we can do more to fight back against them and people that have lost limbs or hearing they can be helped thanks to the the advances in technology. Also instead of sending large groups of troops into the battle field we can now send n drones and lower the deaths of people risking their lives for something that technology can now do for us. Many people will say that if technology keeps advancing that it would be easier to create bombs or weaponize viruses. But since technology is advancing we would be able to track history of people and it would be easier locate things like that. Its also brings more advances to our cars and it makes us safer things such as auto brakes, front and rear view cameras. Some could argue that the auto brakes could malfunction but that's why car companies would have to do multiple test that make sure it works correctly.

My forced position in what to think is that technological advancement is good. There are a variety of reasons why technological advancement is good. For starters, it can help cure modern diseases. Nanotechnology can be used to kill cancer cells. I know that some say tech is bad because in the future people can procure biological weapons in their basements. But tech can be made to sniff out those weapons and dispose of them. Tech can also be used to make the world safer by detecting terrorists and disposing of them. Finally, tech can be used to improve living standards by helping people with stuff that may be too hard for someone to do, like lifting heavy stuff or taking care of their kids.

While some would say technological progress is bad because it could potentially be very harmful to our society, I think technological progress is good because of the many great things it can do for mankind. For instance, we no longer have to send a whole swarm of troops in to take down a terrorist if we could just send a drone in to do it for us. There are scientists working on improving our global warming issue. With technology we can accomplish so much more than without any of it. We’re making fighting robots too. If that isn’t enough to have everyone for technological advancements then what is? It’s a fighting robot! Transformers in real life, but without the car part of it. Eventually that could very well be a thing. With advancements we could find cures for things like cancer, muscle dysmorphia, aids, and so much more. We could even someday have artificial intelligence. You could make a brain dead person have full consciousness and not be a lifeless shell. There isn’t a single reason that this shouldn’t be a good thing.

The benefits of technological progress are that if we get into a nuclear war we can make a bunch of nukes pretty fast. Of course, the downfall of this is that terrorists could make nukes in their basement one day but until that day comes we are really at no harm. Technological progress is good because it’s bringing us one step closer to the future. By making things such as robots and advanced AI, we can begin to be solve problems in the real world, like curing diseases or building things that could be dangerous for man but easy for a machine. Now, just because someone could build a neutrino bomb in their house doesn’t make that a bad thing, or at least the fact that we have come this far in our technological enhancements. Now, say someone got a hold of our tech then what gives? We can just turn it off and or deactivate it or even better, self destruct it on them. All in all, our technological advances we’ve made aren’t that bad.

The advancement of technology is not only good but it is necessary for our time, as technology gets more advanced we have higher chances of finding cures for many diseases like aids, cancer, Lou Gehrig's disease, etc. There are many new things that can be created to help people when a person who has had their limbs amputated we can created a robot arm to help him/her get around easier this is already going on now but with further development we can improve this robot limb to make it identical to a real human limb. Other technology that we can create is a cloning machine this is also going on now a scientist have now made an embryonic clone of a person and this will also help us human if someone needs a kidney transplant or a heart transplant they won’t have to wait for a donor the scientist can just clone a fully functional kidney for the patient.

While Technology may have created negative actions throughout time, I believe that technology at the end of the day, is a good thing. Technology can range from many things, such as video games, phones, TV, etc. Technology has the ability to create entertainment for everyone, and it also allows for easier communications with friends and family, or for your job. Plus, apps such as Facebook, Twitter, and Snapchat provides the ability to show other people to see what’s going on, and you can share interesting or funny posts that you’ve found to other people, thus creating more entertainment. Moreover, technology has been advancing schools and the way they teach. School’s have been getting more reliant on technology now compared to then, since it allows teaching via a video, and it can allow access to class notes in case someone missed the notes or need a refresher. Technology has been evolving for a long time now and it’s still progressing. Transportation devices, like cars, have been evolving for the good as well, since they starting to create safer transportation, and more transportation options, like flying cars or cars that can move on water.

The difference between millions of people being able to share ideas and one or two people trying to figure something out is mind boggling. the average life expectancy during the 17th century was 35 years. It is now 81 years for woman and 76 years for man. This is what technology has done.

People die from that job all the time from falling. We could have robots build them instead. For two reasons: 1. They could do it much faster than humans could. 2. We wouldn't be wasting valuable lives and use those other people for other jobs. Plus we would get to spend more quality time with our families instead of dragging ourselves to work. i think the technological progress is good because we can create new ways to help people that have cancer and many other diseases. also we can help defend our country and save our troops from having the chance of getting killed. back then when we didn't have technology back in the days more people were getting killed because they didn't have the medical equipment that we have today now less people are being killed from diseases. for example with weather equipment we have the ability to tell when a storm is coming because of radar scanners. so people have time to get to a shelter in like a tornado, hurricane, etc. we also can now help people with disabilities.

The advancement of technology is a good thing because although civilians will be able to use new technology that can do harm to others and hurt those they want to the progression of technology will make it so that unlike guns it would be difficult to get your hands on this new technology. if this technology is a weapon that can be used for war it would make the body count on our side drop. The technological progression will eventually make a weapon that would be dangerous in the hands of civilians, assuming that civilians have a possibility of getting their hands on such a great weapon then there would be a big difference in difficulty to getting the weapon that the new technology has produced compared to guns. Other than it getting into civilian hands if a new weapon produced from new technology is better than any sort of weapons we have today then the country with said weapon would dominate in any battles or wars. Some people believe technology is very valuable and accepted it for what technology is, and some may argue that technology is terrible. For the purpose of this project I will explain how technology is extravagant. As much as you may not realize it, you use technology for everything even if it is not you who uses the technology, your parents may tell you the weather outcast for the week and where did they get the information from? Technological progress is good in many aspects such as its impact on education, work life, and social environment to name a few. Many may argue that the advancement of technology has in turn made it’s users much lazier but there is no wrong in saving time and money by simplifying the process of doing tasks. This goes for it’s use in one’s education or work life. Students or workers can now access a variety of resources online, diminishing the need to buy and carry things that they’d have to if not for this technological process. Instant connection is granted among users and they are in reach of fellow peers or co-workers which proves to be useful when in need to discuss and share information. Countless careers have improved with the progression of technology especially those in the medical field, which has essentially improved healthcare as well. Of course the downside is the decrease in jobs that have been taken up by technology made to replace a handful of worker as a cheaper substitute however, this also opens up many jobs in engineering, programming, and maintenance of the technology being made. The biggest downside of technological progression is the unfortunate misuse of some factors. As technology continues to development, the amount of hackers will increase seeing that access to it will be granted more easily. Fortunately there will always be those who work against those with malicious intentions and they’re only bound to get more efficient at what they do. If people who are against technology bring up overpopulation, population growth in developed countries is slowly going to a stop due to more women in the workforce and in education, which wouldn’t happen without technology like the automobile that allows for quicker diffusion of concepts. Without the vaccine, a technology from 1796, very dangerous diseases like smallpox and polio would have still become extant today. Without modern purification of drinking water, epidemics such as cholera would have been more prevalent today. Even though vaccination for a long time will cause evolution of “superbugs” as a group of species, scientists are already working on a vaccine for them.
