Does bisexuality exist?

I've heard many people in many places trying to convince me that bisexuality is just an illusion, and that it doesn't actually exist.

What do you think?

And I put this under health because you're not the boss of me and I can do what I want without having to live up to your EXPECTATIONS OF ME!

^ Not sure where that came from but oh well, free country ( or so everyone tells me.....)

Some people say that ( should have used the word delusion sorry) that bisexuality does not exist, as you either have heterosexuals, or homosexuals. They think bisexuality falls under homosexuality. Others say that you can be heterosexual, but curious, meaning you're not homosexual, but you're going through a stage where you're considering maybe the opposite sex, often confused with bisexuality. The fact is, some people don't think bisexuality is a real sexual orientation, but I beg to differ :L

Side: Yes

In that case, I say it's real because the bisexuals say so. We can't get in there head to prove either way so it stands to reason that lying would not benefit them so they wouldn't.

I would have to say, overwhelmingly, yes. One cannot just disregard every person who has been in love with both a man and a woman just to validate their theory. What of I, a woman, equally had sex with both men and women on a regular basis? I wouldn't be heterosexual, since I'm sleeping with people of my same gender, but neither would I be homosexual, since I'm also sleeping with people of opposite gender, too. Therefore, the only thing left for me to be is bisexual.

Bisexuality really does exist. In America, when we say bisexual, it is pertaining to a person who chooses to have an affair on either man or woman or in some cases, both. It's different from homosexuality. On the other hand, there are places who treat bisexuality tantamount to homosexuality. For example is the Philippines where I'm actually in. In the aforementioned country, if a person is bisexual, he/she is treated as homosexual too. But anyway, it still depends on the places. So, in other words, bisexuality really 'does' exist in some places but not all.

I am bisexual but I currently don't know God's will on same sex marriage, so I do not act on same sex inclinations.

Side: No

I know from experience that it exists because I am bisexual. No, I don't screw animals or kids. That is a vicious lie against gays and bisexuals. I am attracted to adults at least 20 years old or older.

It is as real as the grass outside or the clouds in the sky.

Only for women. A woman can be bisexual, but a dude that bangs guys is gay.

Disputing two things.

Firstly, your vote on the 'No' side. The question "Does bisexuality exist?" Is a yes or no question. By stating "A woman can be bisexual" you are acknowledging that bisexuality does exist, as such the appropriate placement for this argument would be on the Yes side.

Secondly, disputing that only women can be bisexual. You can say 'A dude that bangs guys is gay,' with the implication that no activity said dude has with women 'counts.' I could just as easily say 'A dude that bangs girls is straight,' with the implication that no activity said dude has with men 'counts' and be every bit as correct as you are- not at all.

Science in fact indicates that the homosexual vs. heterosexual bit is a false dichotomy, and even gay-bi-straight is an oversimplification. There is an entire range of varying levels of attraction to males and females, ranging from exclusive attraction to one (heterosexual or homosexual) to even attraction to both (bisexuality). It is possible to be attracted to both males and females, but still generally prefer one over the other.
