Does exposure to violent games cause violent behaviors?

Some experiments suggested that violent games increase aggression in players. Do you think that they are also linked to violent behaviors?

monkey see, monkey do.....

Well violent video games does not MAKE someone do something they don't want to do. If they DO it, they did it because they wanted to. If anything, the violent games just encouraged them or inspired them, but they certainly cannot be held responsible for making someone do something. Everyone is in control of their own body and their own actions.

yes.. i am fully agree . violent games cause violent behaviors, reason is when we play any violent game we fully involved in that game. and we choose one character in game.. we try to be like him in real life.. if that character in game won by doing violent, we thinks violent is good and by doing it we can achieve any things in life.

Numerous studies have shown that video games have no discernible relation to actual violence. In fact, playing video games has been shown to reduce stress, anxiety, depression and anger problems in teenagers. It's really no different than playing make believe with toy guns, or having a fake sword-battle with sticks with your friends in the street. It is a form of entertainment and play which utilised in moderation as part of a balanced lifestyle has all the same benefits as everyday pursuits such as: sitting down to relax in front of the telly with an action-flick; watching your favourite TV police drama; reading a riveting thriller.

People who think video-games cause violence, I suspect, have yet to play one.

You also have to remember that violence is a part of human nature. Meaning, even if you never saw or played a violent video game your entire life, you would still be a violent person and possibly do violent things or kill someone. It's fully automatic and included in us without the help of video games. When Cain murdered his brother Abel, did he do it because he watched violent video games? Obviously no.
