Does perpetual connectivity create narcissism?
To define the question with another question, in a world where connections to somewhere or someplace are very much perpetual, does this create a sense within people that they are the center of the universe? Most first-world people are always connected to a virtual world that almost constantly suits there desires and needs, so much that it is important to wonder whether or not this creates a God complex within these people.

No and for a very simple reason. Your argument doesn't account for people who grew up in a different world, and in their adult lives, became connected. These people are exempt due to their education pre-connectivity hence, it depends on the person therefore, the state of the person defines the potential for created narcissism. Had you posed the question to only include births after 1990, my answer might have been different. Insightful thought regardless. P.S. The "god-complex" you mentioned would require pages to simply scratch the surface. Side: No
