Even though the nation is swamped with anti-racist laws the blacks continue to bellyache about how they're repressed and the unfairness of white privilege. What white privilege? How much of the success of a white person is attributable to white privilege? Be precise, 10%, 20%, 100%. To what degree did WHITE PRIVILEGE represent when whites invented/discovered most of today's conveniences and medical cures we all take for granted? Most of, if not all the following were the brainchild's of whites in countries and at a time when darkies were like hens teeth. Electricity, The light bulb, Radio, Television, The splitting of the atom, X-rays, The telephone, The computer, The internet, The camera, The internal combustion engine, The diesel engine, The jet engine, Aircraft, Space going rockets, The petrochemical industry and its derivatives such as plastics, Penicillin, Most antibiotics, Almost all life saving and pain relieving drugs, Anesthetics, Immunization against killer diseases, such as polio, tuberculosis, civid-19, smallpox etc. etc., High yield farming methods, State of the art building materials and techniques, The industrial revolution, Mass production The submarine, Ocean going liners, It was the Whites inquisitive nature that made them the adventurers and discoverers of new lands and their pioneering spirit which led to the development of the United States becoming the greatest industrial and military nation on earth. (THEN ALONG CAME BLACK MILITANTS, THE WOKES, THE LIBERALS AND THE LOONY LEFTIES) Please explain how it is that all these achievements were made by whites without a BONGO in sight can be credited to THE MYTHICAL WHITE PRIVILEGE? It is the B.L.M., and woke nonsense along with the congenital character flaws of the blacks, such as laziness, a predisposition to violent crime, poor hygiene, adversity to a formal education, are the real culprits that are keeping the darkies in the dark. TRY TO UNDERSTAND PEOPLE;- REGARDLESS OF WHAT ARTIFICIAL MEASURES OR ANTI-DISCRIMATION YOU INTRODUCE, BLACK AND WHITE WILL NEVER MIX. Hi Excon, Thanks for the reply but I don't think we're comparing like with like when we try to collate the horrific plight of the Jews in Germany and occupied Europe during the 1930 and 40s with the Blacks in today's humane, progressive America. The Jews in Europe did not enjoy the anti-racist/sectarian discrimination laws as the blacks do in all the free nations of the Western Democracies. Any blacks living in ghettos do so out of choice and not as a consequence of being corralled there and being forced to stay. I also feel it is worth mentioning that the inhuman character of wartime Germany is diluted each time someone tries to make an association with regrettable social attitudes and the demonic atrocities of the Nazi regime. I was around 8 when I rode my bike on the sidewalk of a neighbor.. He yelled at me and called me a dirty Jew. Yes, it was crushing.. I was 8. Did that sit inside me for years? Fucking right it did... Or how about the time I was invited to go swimming with my friend, ONLY to get promptly dis-invited because the pool was "restricted"? Have I forgotten the humiliation I suffered even though I was only 12?? Fuck no, I haven't. Ok, how about this? In 1962, I was eligible for the Navy NESEP program.. It would have provided 4 years of college and a commission in the Navy.. But, my chief, was an antisemetic SOB, who confronted me in CIC drunk one night, and ordered me to go AWOL.. Did it loudly too.. Whipped out his wallet and offered me money.. I was 18. He was my chief, so I went AWOL.. Goodbye NESEP program. Did that embed itself in my brain? You betcha. Hi E., Well, you certainly relate an outrageous account of suffering from what I interpret as both racial discrimination and religious sectarianism. I genuinely feel that the victims here were the people who openly and hurtfully spurned your presence and willfully lured you onto a path of military discipline or to incur a black mark. Both the swimming pool and the AWOL enticement incidents were perpetrated by sick weirdos. Being originally from Ireland I too am only too well aware of discrimination and suffering open hostility in public. Both my father and only uncle were highly decorated for bravery during WW2 fighting for Britain. On my first visit to England when I was 17 I noticed signs on my route into the city of London stating;- NO BLACKS, NO IRISH, NO DOGS. My initial reaction to this was one of deep hurt and confusion. The proprietor of a shop threw a book from the top shelf of a book rack when he found the publication I had requested. When he descended to ground level I took the hardback book in both hands and whacked it across the bridge of his nose. Having been born and bred in the back streets of Belfast I could handle myself pretty well and knew how to inflict maximum pain with minimal effort. When my business took off I was buying 2 to 3 40' containers of raw material per week from my English suppliers and believe me I made them jump through hoops to maintain my custom. I would not assume to advise you in any way how to handle the prejudices you endured but would say that I decided to use the exposure to bigotry which I experienced to strengthen my knowledge of people and to recognize the importance of self reliance and personal independence. The vital factor here is to make sure you never become so resentful that your embitterment impairs your ability to advance your career or to detract from your happiness. Oh yes, there was no such thing as WHITE PRIVILEGE in the poverty stricken backstreets of post war Belfast. This is why I become so incensed when I hear people mindlessly bellowing about WHITE PRIVILEGE.
