Yes, truth matters. But thinking that you will find an agreed upon truth on this cite is foolish. It is akin to thinking that you will settle a debate in a bar with an agreed resolution. Here people will bitch and yell about whatever they think is right without listening to the opposition. It isn't a debate cite, so much as an aggressive chat room. No truths will be found, no opinions will be agreed upon. It's just people yelling at each other; often with terrible grammar and spelling. Side: Yes

Apparently not. People deny the truth whenever it is convenient for them to do so. Such as one stating they have no gods. Yet dictionaries define god as something of importance noting that 3 out 6 of the definitions are not pertaining to the supernatural. 1a. A being conceived as the perfect, omnipotent, omniscient originator and ruler of the universe, the principal object of faith and worship in monotheistic religions. b. The force, effect, or a manifestation or aspect of this being. 2. A being of supernatural powers or attributes, believed in and worshiped by a people, especially a male deity thought to control some part of nature or reality. 3. An image of a supernatural being; an idol. 4. One that is worshiped, idealized, or followed: (Money was their god.) 5. A very handsome man. 6. A powerful ruler or despot. http://www.thefreedictionary.com/God To say one has no god is impossible, unless you ignore the truth. Side: No

In that example the truth matters. If you say the truth, you know what the reaction will be. It is also wise to take into consideration other truths about her you could mention, that might beat lying. "Does this dress make me look fat?" "That color looks beautiful on you dear!" "But am I too big?" "Your heart is too big, that's for sure." Side: Yes
