No one would buy CDs, which can lead to closing jobs, and we need more jobs for people!

Also, who knows who is behind all these websites of free music,

they can get your information, and they could even hack your personal information and important things that belong to you!

It could also be inappropriate, too. Any one can make websites!

It's very dangerous, so I think it shouldn't legal to download music for free.

ok, let's look at this in a new way.

1. Downloading songs without the permission of the song writer/artist is illegal.

2. Eventually songs go out of protection and end up being fair gaime for all (17 years) ithink.

3. Most songs are average. that is why there is a top 40/50/100 countdown. If most were really great, we would have the top 1000 song count down.

4. Most people don't buy CDs anymore.

So, where does that leave us? Downloading is the best method to get songs under most conditions...Most songs suck so people should not have to pay for them. People do pay for the good songs. Therefore, I don't beleive downloading songs will significanlty impact the financial situation of an artist. So what the heck..make it legal.

i understand the thing about jobs, but think of it this way.

1. you dont have to go through going into the stores, and looking for it, and waiting in long lines, credit card trouble, then finally getting home just to have to go through all the wrappers from the CD case.

with the free download,

1. its FREE, and u can have anywhere while ur mobile too. all u have to do is go online, search, and download. done.

i'll probably add a vid about this guy totally freakin out about the CD wrappers and stuff, but i might not put it one cuz it has cursin, and i dont know what the name of the vid is. the only reason i know about it is because, once again, my brother showed it to me.

If all music became free, then people wouldn't earn anything by making music.

Therefore - if music became free, new music would not be made.

Resulting in, that all we have is crappy rap songs to listen to for all eternity.

I will rather buy music, than make it disappear.

I download Music and buy CD's because I like to have CD's but then I grew up when Vinyl was King and used to spend hours in the record shop that was how I discovered lots of music just by hanging out getting to know the people in the shop which is something you dont get from the internet but downloading is easier. I find I download songs but if I want an album i'll buy the CD

I think downloading music should not be illegal. Because, downloading music is already illegal.

Also somebody who downloads music illegally thinks that they are still downloading music and listening to it so singer can get money. Yeah! It's true that singer or people relating to singer get money. But the problem is even though we download 10000 music illegally the singer get 50 cents. Somebody that see my argument might say that singer can get lots of money by doing something else. But that's the problem. Because in the past singers got way more money by selling their music than doing something else. So, I think downloading music should not be illegal. Thank You.

Free to download but on your own conscience to support what you actually like.

I've noticed that some albums contain more than those sold in other regions. Yeah... it's either the full experience everywhere, or I'm going pirate (goes about all products). Not to mention there are some who want it but literally cannot afford it, they need money for more essential things (in that case also, pirate away!).

The only reason why there is an "issue" here is because there is such a thing as money. If there were no money - something that is possible, just getting it done is... well, I bet you can imagine. Any radical change is. It's a matter of perspective, a way of looking at things. But either way, the most efficient one does not include money.

I don't think so because artists don't get paid for their works.

Downloading free music should not be legal. It's not just stealing money from the stores or the music company or even the artist; it's also stealing someone's property. The songwriter and the singer have the right not to have their words and music taken without compensation. This is intellectual property, and taking it without permission should be considered a criminal act--despite the fact that "everyone is doing it." If they wanted you to they would be having it on itunes for free and such. When you file share, you are essentially preventing that artist from getting the money he has coming to him. Although you bought the song, you do not have the right to give copies of it to anyone you want.
