Drones as a way to track students skipping class?
I am not located in the US or England. It is legal under my countries law for them to use technology to detect occurance of a crime in a public space.
Info I've gathered on the drones through requests in my school district-
•Battery life, 8 hours flying.
•Roof charging port on top of the school.
•Live controller at the police department.
•Thermal and regular cameras that stream to police.
Also, skipping school is a crime punishable by a fine of $20 US. Up to $300 if you attempt to evade police though.

I do not believe students are completely free to skip classes because attendance is compulsory (except for home schooling) and there will be consequences. At the same time, drones are not necessary because it is not necessary to know where a student is, only that he is missing class. Side: Against
