On this particular occasion we must realize that the weak and narrow minded will never understand that the military operation in Afghanistan was primarily to eradicate the terrorist organization al-Qaeda which was being given sanctuary and succor by the Taliban.

This sound military and political strategy was based on the premise that it is overwhelmingly better to fight your enemies in a foreign land than it is in the towns and cities of your own country.

It is most unfortunate however that even after 20 years of fighting Afghanistan's battles for them and having rid their country of AL-Qaeda terrorists the will does not exist within the people of that miserable country to fight for their own freedom.

Someone had to have the decisiveness and political courage to make the decision to 'pull out' of that God forsaken shit hole and that someone was President Biden.

''We have to give credit where credit is due''.

WE MUST NOW DO EVERYTHING POSSIBLE TO ENSURE THAT AFGHANISTAN DOES NOT ONCE MORE BECOME A BREEDING GROUND FOR TERRORISTS.

Probably the most important single factor for the speed of the Taliban's advance through the country is that they enjoy overwhelming support from the people.

We were never wanted there and after some 3500 deaths and outgoings of a few trillion dollars have changed nothing.

Our intervention in Iraq saw the forming of the Islamic State and the death of an estimated 2 million civilians.

As we try to impose our perceived superior western democracy on these Islamic nations we only leave a trail of devastation and a political void which is filled by ruthless and barbaric terrorists.

Will we ever learn?

Absolutely not.

We will continue with our arrogant Liberal evangelicalism for the foreseeable future.

When a Democrat takes over, a Middle Eastern country is taken over by terrorists

Hello Baloney:

Nahhh... What's true, is that when a Republican named George W. Bush STARTED a war with Afghanistan, he was totally incapable of winning it. So, he passed his failure on to Obama.. Obama passed Bush's failure onto Trump.. And, Trump passed Bush's failure onto Biden..

Biden isn't gonna pass it on to anybody, and that's a good thing.

Apparently, you're not too swift when it comes to history.. Dude!

True. He was also a raging establishment moron.

So, he passed his failure on to Obama..

True.

Obama passed Bush's failure onto Trump..

True.

And, Trump passed Bush's failure onto Biden..

I don't think so Con. Trump started no new wars and made peace with the Taliban and the fat boy in North Korea, which is why the establishment and their media hated him. Their lobbyists make alot of money from dropping bombs on brown people.

Your boy comes in and almost instantly what I predicted would happen did. The inmates are back to running the asylum in the desert while we threaten to bomb brown people again.

Biden isn't gonna pass it on to anybody

You're right. He's gonna pass them something worse. You know I'm dead right when even CNN agrees.

Apparently, you're not too swift when it comes to history..

He or she may not be, but I sure am. Bush created an Iraq and Afganistan clusterfuck, Obama created an ISIS, Libya, Syria, Egypt, and Benghazi clusterfuck on top of the Iraq clusterfuck, things went back to as normal as is possible under Trump, Trump disavowed Bush's foreign policies and decisions, and Biden took over and now we having another Benghazi while the once subdued Taliban is now back in charge of the desert. Dang Con. It only took a few months of Biden for gas prices to double, inflation to skyrocket and the Taliban to get back control. So much for $1.35 gas and 3.2% unemployment, thelowest in over 50 years.

Biden officials admit miscalculation as Afghanistan's national forces and government rapidly fall
