Exactly What Is It That Americans Don't Understand About The History Of Nationalism?
The great Albert Einstein once said: "Nationalism is an infantile disease. It is the measles of mankind."
Every solitary nationalist culture in history has met an unfavourable end, from the Romans to the Nazis.
So how do Americans (and particularly Republicans) still continue to win support using this outdated and dense method of public relations propaganda?
Well, unfortunately it requires the complete brainwashing of the populace. How else do you convince people not to bother weighing your ideas up against the written historical record?
And that is the sad state of affairs in America, I am afraid. They say that doing the same thing repeatedly in anticipation of different results is the definition of madness. If that is true then America is a society where insanity has been normalised.
In anticipation of the barrage of deflections and counter-accusations from the lowbrow (yet vicious) children of the board, then yes, I am fully aware that other countries are not perfect. I am also fully aware that none of them hold a candle to the social indoctrination factory which is the United States.
The United States is a society in which sanity has been marginalised to the fringes of acceptability, its antithesis advertised and sold like a product to the millions of people persuaded to believe they need it.
